    Abstract: A movable rack assembly may include an input shaft, a driven gear, an adjustable rack, an interference plate, and a contact tab. The input shaft may extend along an input axis. The input shaft may include a worm gear segment disposed along the input axis between a first end and a second end. The driven gear may be enmeshed with the worm gear segment, define a maximum outer circumference, and be rotatable about a driven axis nonparallel to the input axis. The interference plate may be fixed to the driven gear. The interference plate may include a radial arm extending past the maximum outer circumference of the driven gear. The contact tab may extend from the input shaft and be axially offset from the worm gear segment in selective engagement with the radial arm at a predefined travel limit of the driven gear to halt rotation at the input shaft.

The AHPU withdraws potentially contaminated air from inside the tunnel-like enclosure, filtrates the air by removing contaminants from the air withdrawn, and returns the filtrated air back into the tunnel-like enclosure.

    Abstract: A holder supports a separation member. When a sheet cassette is attached to a main body portion, as the sheet cassette is moved in its attachment direction, a moving mechanism causes the holder to move from an initial position to an operation position. When the holder is at the initial position, the separation member is spaced from a feeding member and is able to pass below the feed-out member. When at the operation position, the holder presses the separation member against the feeding member. When the sheet cassette is attached to the main body portion, the moving mechanism causes the holder to move to the operation position after the separation member passes below the feed-out member. When the sheet cassette is drawn from the main body portion, the moving mechanism causes the holder to move to the initial position before the separation member reaches below the feed-out member.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for establishing triggers for the opening of one or multiple gates to a mold cavity of an injection molding system, followed by a sequence of predetermined valve pin movements over the course on an injection cycle. In one embodiment, the invention provides a graphical user interface and control system enabling a user to select from and arrange a plurality of virtual icons into a user-defined virtual sequence that define associated triggering events and actuator controlled pin movements over the course of an injection cycle. In various embodiments, the apparatus and method allows the system operator to view a simulated profile of such triggers and movements and to compare the simulated profile to an actual profile to access differences and make adjustments to the triggers and sequencing more quickly and efficiently. This is particularly useful in sequential molding systems where multiple gates need to be programmed and adjusted to compensate for variations from a predetermined sequence.

The second slit is formed so as to reduce the size of the aperture compared with when the effector is free from the pressure.
