Abstract: The development roller adheres toner to an electrostatic latent image on the photo conductor drum in order to develop a toner image. The pattern image generating unit develops two pattern images that are two sets of plural test patches for calibration on the photo conductor drum. Each one of the pattern images includes the test patches corresponding to densities in gradation. Further, the pattern image generating unit sets an interval between a top of the first pattern image and a top of the second pattern image so that a remainder for the interval divided by a density fluctuation pitch is larger than a length of the test patch. The density fluctuation pitch is the product of a periphery length of the development roller and a ratio between a rotating speed of the development roller and a rotating speed of the photo conductor drum.

Abstract: A bushing allows for adjustability of a position of a headrest. The bushing includes a head portion having an opening and a passageway opening. The bushing also includes a body portion defining an internal passageway. The passageway opening of the head portion is aligned with the internal passageway of the body portion. The body portion includes a wall surrounding an area of reduced thickness, and a protrusion is located on an internal surface of the area of reduced thickness. The bushing also includes a moveable portion received in the opening of the head portion. The moveable portion is moveable between a first position where a feature engages a notch of a post receivable in the internal passageway of the body portion and the passageway opening of the head portion to retain the headrest in a position and a second position where the feature is disengaged from the notch of the post, allowing the post and the headrest to move relative to the bushing.

The connector part at a side of the apparatus main body part includes a window; a first connector main body visible through the window and having an electrical connection port facing to the sheet feed unit; a connector cover covering openably/closably the electrical connection port of the first connector main body; and a biasing member biasing the first connector main body downwardly. The connector part at a side of the sheet feed unit includes a second connector main body positioned below the first connector main body. The first connector main body is pressured downwardly with respect to the connector cover by the biasing member, when the connector cover is closed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system for delivering information comprising: a sender device with an email client for composing and sending an original email message to a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) listener server with encryption enabled; a message processor that extracts the message body payload from the email message, stores it in a database, and creates a new email message with a message body containing a reference to the message body of the original email message; a file repository for storage of attachments to the email message; and an SMTP sender that sends the new email message to a recipient mail server. The listener server assigns the message to the message processor, and the new email message contains links to the attachments residing in the file repository. A method utilizing the system described above.

At least one implementation allows a user to create a map that comprises a representation of at least one light source within a three-dimensional model. Furthermore, at least one implementation casts a viewpoint ray to an object surface point, wherein the viewpoint ray comprises a ray extending from a user perspective within the three-dimensional model. Additionally, at least one implementation casts a reflection ray of the viewpoint ray. Further, at least one implementation identifies an intersection point between the reflection ray and the map. Still further, at least one implementation calculates the specular reflection of the object surface point based on the intersection point.

Abstract: In an information processing apparatus, if a setting content of a preset second setting item of a plurality of setting items included in pre-registration information selected by a selection portion is outside a range of use authority, a change portion changes the setting content of the second setting item to a content within the range of the use authority. In addition, a sequential display portion sequentially displays a setting screen for setting the setting content of the second setting item, in accordance with a setting operation on the setting screen. Furthermore, a second display control portion displays an authentication screen if the setting content of the second setting item is set on the setting screen so as to be outside the range of the use authority.

Abstract: A sofa hinge that provides easy conversion of a sofa convertible from one position to another while providing added safety by substantially reducing the risk of an injury to the operator's fingers. The sofa hinge includes a first and a second bracket rotatably connected to the sofa hinge at a bolt. The sofa hinge further comprises a lever gear mechanism connected to the first bracket via a first lever latch on the first bracket. The lever gear mechanism is connected to the second bracket via a second lever latch on the second bracket. The first bracket has cover plates on both the inside and outside surfaces of the bracket. The second bracket includes a cover plate attached on the outside surface. The second lever latch can larger than the first lever latch and function as an additional cover plate on the inside surface of the sofa hinge.

Abstract: A cylinder liner installation tool for seating a cylinder liner into an engine block includes a body having a handle mount section at a proximal end and a head bolt mounting section at a distal end, a press rod attached to the body toward the distal end by a hinge mount, a press plate attached to the press rod, and a handle extension removably attached to the handle mount section, wherein the head bolt mounting section is configured to receive a head bolt mounted to the engine block so that application of an applied force to the handle extension results in a translation of the force down the press rod to the press plate. A method of installing a cylinder liner into a cylinder bore in an engine block includes using a cylinder liner installation tool.

Abstract: A graphical user interface is provided that can be used on a diagnostic too. The graphical user interface allows a technician to operate various functions of the diagnostic tool including searching for additional information on the Internet, receiving weather information that is relevant to certain diagnostic tests, and displaying in certain formats the retrieved vehicle data and when certain vehicles were last scanned or diagnosed. The thermosetting resin is one or more resins selected from the group of amino resins consisting of a melamine resin, a urea resin, and a glyoxal resin. The data prefetch unit prefetches, if no data to be output exists in another one of the plurality of buffers, the data stored in the auxiliary storage unit to the another one of the plurality of buffers. The data deletion unit deletes the data, transmitting of which has been completed. The image forming unit performs image formation for the data as page data.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for synchronizing device settings at a mobile device with settings held at a database in a synchronization server. This settings exchange mechanism is further extended to provide versioning information used in an auto upgrade process, in which the synchronization server is configured to push updates to the mobile device. Additional systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for configuring logging preferences on the mobile device from a server, and further for silently retrieving logs generated on the mobile device to the server.
