Abstract: A node for a solar frame including an elongate portion having a channel extending through it in which a structural element is disposed or a solid elongate portion on to which a structural element is disposed. The node comprises a fin extending radially outward from the elongate portion where at least 5% of the volume of the fin is replaced by at least a single void extending essentially in parallel with the channel or the extrusion direction of the solid elongate portion. An apparatus for transmitting torque in a solar frame having structural elements and a support. A system for solar mirrors. A node for a solar frame. Abstract: A proppant container facilitates the transportation of wet sand for use in a hydraulic fracturing operation. The proppant container is provided with a system for dislodging the wet sand for subsequent use. This may be done by use of a vibrator or an umbrella valve. In another aspect, the proppant container may be used in combination with a rack having a wash system that slurries the proppant for delivery to a blender tub without necessarily resorting to use of a conveyor belt.

Abstract: An oil, water, and gas separator assembly connects a fire extinguishing assembly. When the extinguisher assembly is in operation, sensors indicate an indication to a processor system. If the indication, after processing by the processor system, indicates an unwanted fire condition, the processor actuates the movement of fire extinguishing agent or suppressant from a source of supply to and through a distribution network and into the various hollows delimited by the separator assembly and to the external environment.

Abstract: An expandable reel for a well system includes a support frame configured to receive a torque from a motor a plurality of circumferentially spaced spokes each extending radially away from a central axis of the expandable reel, a core assembly configured to couple to the support frame and receive a tubular of the well system about an outer surface of the core assembly, wherein the core assembly includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced panel assemblies each extending longitudinally between opposed ends thereof that are in sliding engagement with the plurality of spokes, and a linear actuator coupled between the support frame and the core assembly and configured to actuate the core assembly, including the plurality of panel assemblies, between a first configuration providing a first outer diameter and a second configuration providing a second outer diameter that is different from the first outer diameter.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for implementing a video surveillance system. In one or more examples, the improved system can include a video managing system that applies one or more watchlists, to video footage captured by surveillance cameras to apply one or more processing policies indicated by the one or more watchlists. In some embodiments, a watchlist may indicate a plurality of events of interest (e.g., specific classes of objects, a presence of one or more persons, or one or more persons of interest, etc.) that should be detected from video footage. Through these mechanisms, video processing can be increased since the types of events of interest that need to be detected within the video footage are reduced. Non-transitory storage requirements are reduced, and human labor requirements to monitor, analyze, and review video surveillance footage is reduced.

Abstract: A cup holder insert for increasing the depth of an existing cup holder includes a generally cylindrical body with an open top, a bottom and a sidewall. The body also includes an upper lip extending outwardly from the sidewall and surrounding the top. An engagement system having a flexible lip, an engagement aperture and an alignment flange functions to secure the cup holder insert into an existing cup holder to increase the existing cup holder depth. A method for inserting the cup holder insert into an existing cup holder is also disclosed.

Abstract: Web-filtering operations may be implemented on the user device, rather than on a centralized proxy server, to improve reliability, performance, and/or security of the web-filtering operations. Some or all of the necessary functions related to web-filtering may be performed on the end user device to remove the complexity and security issues inherent with the current methodology. One technique for allowing operation of proxy servers on user devices is to install smart agents on the user device. The smart agents, under control of a management server, may configure the proxy server, issue trust certificates to applications on the device, and/or provide proxy access configuration (PAC) files to applications on the device.

Abstract: Embodiments of a high-pressure, high power, reciprocating positive displacement fluid pumping system and methods are included. The system may include a high-pressure, high power, reciprocating positive displacement pump including a pump plunger, a fluid end block assembly, and a fluid cover. The fluid end block assembly may include a fluid end block body, a suction port, a discharge port, a pump bore positioned in and extending through the fluid end block body, and a fluid chamber positioned in the fluid end block body and in fluid communication with each of the suction port, the discharge port, and the pump bore. The fluid chamber has an open end portion, and the pump plunger may be positioned to move in the pump bore to pressurize one or more fluids in the fluid chamber.

Abstract: Composite tank apparatus and methods of making and using same. An array of flat-sided co-dependent cells with relatively thin skins made of metallic or non-metallic materials. Each cell has at least two flat wall panel portions connected by radiused sections arranged such that all of the flat wall panel portions are either in flush contact with each other or in flush contact with flat supporting panels of an enclosing structure or thermal insulating material lining an interior thereof. The cells are sealed with each other around a perimeter of at least one pair of matching lightening through-wall holes provided in adjacent pairs of the wall panel portions of the cells to resist relative movement and prevent leakage of fluid therefrom. The composite tank apparatus may include an enclosing structure, and optionally, one or more layers of thermally insulating material lining the interior surface or the exterior surface of the enclosing structure.

Abstract: In one aspect, a device agnostic system for providing a fully connected worker risk assessment is disclosed. The system includes an interface and data model for capturing and interpreting one or more variables associated with a worker's body motion and non-body motion related data. The system further includes a processor for aggregating, assessing, and interpreting the one or more input variables to perform a fully connected worker risk assessment based on not only the worker's movement, but also non-movement related data. The processor further provides an output based on the processed one or more input variables to provide a fully connected risk assessment and solutions relating to the same.

Abstract: A track shoe for an endless track assembly has a base and an opposing hull. The hull of the track shoe has opposing sidewalls that are angled to meet at an apex, thus forming an inverted V-shape. The apex of the hull extends the width of the track shoe. Laterally-disposed ridges are spaced apart from the apex. and the height of the ridges tapers outwardly from the hull to form, respectively, a leading lip and a trailing lip of the track shoe. The track shoe may have upward bends at the ends of the width of the track shoe and optionally, may have secondary hulls.

Abstract: An adjustable height golf tee system having a tee and an anchor is discussed. The tee is height-adjustable relative to the anchor. A first anchor includes a cap, a stem, and a tip. The stem can be threaded internally, externally, or a combination thereof. A second anchor includes a base, a first stem, a cap, and a second stem as well as optional spacers. The stems can be threaded internally. Both the first and second anchors can be composed multiple pieces (e.g., a detachable cap, a detachable stem, or a detachable portion thereof) to provide access to an inner cavity of the respective stems.
