Abstract: A handheld wrap-dispensing tool for dispensing wrap material from a roll over packages to be securely shipped on a shipping pallet. The tool enables quick and easy changing of the roll, thereby greatly reducing time needed to replace rolls of wrap material. The tool includes a pole having a handle end and a locking end having a retaining pin. A compression spring is mounted along the pole and abutts a lock collar, such that the spring is compressed in accordance with the position of the lock collar along the pole. A bottom cone has a through-slot and a retention notch perpendicular to the through-slot that allows passage of the retaining pin, and then allows rotating the pole so as to seat or unseat the retaining pin in the retention notch to attach or remove the bottom cone from the locking end so as to quickly change the roll of material.

Abstract: Methods of taking a scan of a patient's oral cavity without requiring removal of a healing cap coupled within the implant in the subgingival void. The method may include providing an anatomical healing cap received within the subgingival void of a given tooth position, where the anatomical healing cap is coupled into an implant in the void. A scanning body or an impression post is inserted into an open end (e.g., the hollow core) of the anatomical healing cap, in-situ, with the anatomical healing cap positioned in the subgingival void, and the implant thereunder (or thereover for a maxillary tooth position). The scanning body or impression post is used as a reference in making the impression or scan. Because this is done without requiring removal of the healing cap, further collapse of the gingival tissue surrounding the void is prevented.
Abstract: A decoder includes circuitry configured to receive a bitstream; construct, for a current block, a motion vector candidate list including a motion vector candidate having motion information that characterizes a global motion vector; reorder the motion vector candidate list such that the motion vector candidate having the motion information that characterizes the global motion vector is first in the reordered motion vector candidate list; and reconstruct pixel data of the current block and using the reordered motion vector candidate list. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

Abstract: The technical solutions described herein are systems and methods for adjustable surgical guides, virtual planning, and surgical navigation. The system can process preoperative image data of a glenoid, generate a virtual representation of the glenoid face, and maintain a virtual model of a surgical guide. The system can present the virtual representation and the surgical guide in a user interface, determine version and inclination angles for the surgical guide, and adjust the surgical guide's position or orientation. The system can assess virtual plan data, communicate the data to a surgical system, translate the data into movement commands, and execute the movement commands for drilling. The system can access an intraoperative image of the glenoid face, identify the position of a drilling instrument, generate an image to determine the spatial relationship between the instrument and the virtual representation, and present a dynamic visual indicator to guide drilling.
Abstract: A surgical guide includes a base and a drill guide coupled to the base. The drill guide includes a drill guide body defining a drill bore for receiving a drill bit and extending through the drill guide, the drill guide being configured to translate relative the base to adjust a drill guide angle defined by the drill bore and the base, the drill guide further being configured to transition between a locked state and an unlocked state, wherein the drill guide angle is fixed in the locked state and the drill guide angle is adjustable in the unlocked state.
Abstract: A gas lift valve including a body with interior charging chamber; a housing defining a bore in fluid communication with the charging chamber; a plug positioned within the bore and an a first O-ring forming a seal between an external surface of the plug and an interior surface of the bore, a crush washer is positioned between the plug and a surface of the housing; and a cap positioned with respect to the housing such that the plug is positioned within the cap interior bore and a second O-ring forms a seal between a first external surface of the housing and a first interior surface of the cap.
Abstract: An intubation assistance device facilitates insertion of an endotracheal tube or a guide wire into a patient's trachea without requiring a laryngoscope. The device includes a curved flexible tubular member that has a proximal portion having a proximal end, a distal portion having a distal end, and a curved portion between the proximal portion and the distal portion. A lumen extends from the proximal end of the tubular member and terminates in the curved portion of the tubular member. The lumen is sized and shaped so that an endotracheal tube and/or a guide wire is axially moveable through the lumen. A ramp is disposed at a distal end of the lumen, and is angled to facilitate insertion of the endotracheal tube and/or guide wire into the patient's trachea. The distal portion of the tubular member includes an esophageal protrusion that is configured to be inserted in the patient's esophagus.

Abstract: A system and method configured to restore ion exchange kinetic properties and purify resin is described. Degraded ion exchange kinetic properties of anion resin will eventually result in impurity slippage through resin charges. This system and method employs an acid catalyst in combination with sulfite cleaning solution to remove organic material and to protonate iron oxides for deconstruction and removal from anion resins. The cleaning solution, when applied via a cleaning vessel utilizing an eductor(s)/plenum and wedge-wire screen draw chamber, while controlling all phases of cleaning by electronic monitoring, yields complete restoration of ion exchange kinetics on usable resin. As such, the system and method provides a safe, effective, and vastly improved method for restoring anion resin kinetics and improving regeneration quality, for improved resin performance and minimizing resin replacement costs.
