  • Publication number: 20200042786
Abstract: An image reader includes a document reading unit, and a control unit that functions as an individual image cutting section, character string detection section, mismatch detection section, judgment section, and correction section. The individual image cutting section cuts out individual images from image data obtained through reading by the document reading unit. The character string detection section detects character strings present on the individual images. The mismatch detection section detects, for the character strings detected by the character string detection section, a mismatching portion by making comparison between the individual images with considering character strings having contents identical or similar to each other as same information. The judgment section judges for the mismatching portions whether a ratio of majority characters reaches a predefined ratio.

  • Patent number: 10554628
Abstract: A method for anonymously communicating data that defines a token from a source system to a destination system via a block-chain distributed database includes receiving, at a token distribution system, request information from a source system. The request information specifies source identifying information and an address for receiving one or more tokens. The token distribution system determines one or more tokens for allocation to the source system and communicates the allocated tokens to the address defined in the request information via a zero-knowledge transaction. The source system moves the tokens to a different address for communicating a block-chain transaction and communicates the tokens at the different address to a destination address associated with the destination system via a block-chain transaction.

  • Patent number: 10554294
Abstract: The systems and processes described herein can reduce the footprint of the internal devices of a wireless device by combining the DC-DC supply regulator with a FEM. Further, the device footprint can be further reduced by sharing the integrated DC-DC supply regulator among multiple FEMs reducing or eliminating the use of a separate DC-DC supply regulator for each FEM of a wireless device. Moreover, in certain embodiments, by integrating the DC-DC supply regulator into a 2G FEM, power efficiency can be improved for some wireless devices. For example, the DC-DC supply regulator may be used to supply power to a PA used for high-band 2G transmission functions. Using the DC-DC supply regulator can improve power efficiency compared to systems that supply the power for the high-band 2G PA directly from the power supply (e.g., the battery).
