Patent number: 10500828Abstract: A method for laminating and aligning an irregular-shape material is disclosed. Since the existing laminating material has an irregular shape, there is a problem with disabling alignment in a lamination process. Thus, the irregular shape of the laminating material is used to form a straight line correlated with a tangent line to the shape, and the straight line is used as the shape-aligned feature of the laminating material. Besides, the definition of an alignment relationship between the laminating material and a laminated object is established to adjust a lamination tolerance and prevent the laminating material from overhanging over the laminated object, thereby satisfying consumers' aesthetic needs for the appearance of products.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2018Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignees: Interface Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., Interface Optoelectronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., General Interface Solution LimitedInventor: Yun-Pei Chen

Patent number: 10503495Abstract: A component management platform includes a component library that stores software components to be incorporated into applications, such as components that have been optimized for efficient performance, reliability, and/or other aspects. The platform also provides a workspace that is accessed to create an application that includes component(s) stored in the component library. In some instances, a developer modifies component when incorporating the component into their application. The platform enables the developer to upload the modified version of the component, which is stored in the component library and published, through the platform, to enable others to incorporate the modified version of the component into their application projects. In some implementations, the modified version is tested for backward compatibility with previous versions of the component, and to verify that the modified version does not include any bugs.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: Accenture Global Solutions LimitedInventors: Ashish Kolhe, Dhanashree Dalal, Parikshit Maniar, Shridhar D. Patent number: 10504131Abstract: A system and method are presented for using a plurality of data caches to increase the efficiency of a computing system in an e-commerce environment. Separate caches with distinct time-to-live values are created, one each for customer information, customer cart contents, and product pricing data. Product pricing is pre-analyzed using a pricing data engine that calculates multiple potential prices for a single item that is then stored in the product pricing data cache. This data can then be used in a variety of contexts to determine different pricing for the same product without requiring another request for product data from the pricing data engine. When a product is viewed during catalog browsing, all information needed to determine pricing for that particular user might be accessible from the data caches for fast processing.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: BBY Solutions, Inc.Inventor: Rambabu Raipati

Patent number: 10500643Abstract: The invention provides a green chemistry, aqueous method to synthesize gold nanoparticles directly from bulk gold sources. The method involves the ultrasonication of bulk gold in water in the presence of an alkythiol species and a quaternary ammonium surfactant. An organic bilayer forms on the surface of the gold which renders it susceptible to material ejection from the violent collapse of cavitation bubbles. This ejected material is stabilized in solution by the formation of an organic bilayer and can be easily separated. It can then be subjected to an aqueous digestive ripening step to give a gold nanoparticle ensemble with a well-defined plasmon resonance. This method is applicable to a number of different sources of bulk gold. The method can be applied to an environmentally important problem; the recovery of gold from electronic waste streams. For example, gold nanoparticles can be extracted directly from the surface of SIM cards, with no prior manipulation of the cards necessary.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLCInventors: Dale L.
