Patent number: 11964586Abstract: A battery management system including a first connection unit, a first slave controller and a master controller. The first connection unit electrically connects a first battery cell included in a first battery group to the first slave controller. Power from the first battery group is supplied to the first slave controller through a first power line included in the first connection unit. The first slave controller determines a first reference voltage value indicating a voltage of the first battery cell during the execution of the first communication mode, and determines a first comparative voltage value indicating a voltage of the first battery cell during the execution of the second communication model. The master controller determines whether the first power line has an open circuit fault based on the first reference voltage value and the first comparative voltage value.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2020Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: LG Energy Solution, Ltd.Inventor: Jong-Wan Kim

Patent number: 11964111Abstract: Embolization particles can be safely delivered to the left gastric artery of a patient by introducing the distal end of a catheter in the patient's left gastric artery, inflating a balloon located near the distal end of the catheter so that the balloon prevents blood from flowing through the left gastric artery, and injecting a mixture of particles and contrast agent into the proximal end of the catheter so that they flow through the catheter. In addition, a path is provided for blood to flow into the catheter through an opening in the sidewall of the catheter at a position that is proximal to the balloon, and out through the distal end of the catheter. This blood flow helps to carry the particles along to their destination in the distal portion of the left gastric artery. The particles are also prevented from flowing into portions of the patient's artery system that are proximal of the balloon.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2022Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Endobar Solutions LLCInventors: Nickolas Kipshidze, Ronald Jay Solar

Patent number: 11966180Abstract: An action member is movable between a first position at which a unit bias member is sandwiched between the action member and a heating unit and a second position. A movement mechanism operates in conjunction with a movement of an operation portion to cause the action member to move from one of the first position and the second position to another one of the first position and the second position. A contact portion of the heating unit comes into contact with a fixing unit by a bias force received from the unit bias member when the action member is at the first position. The action member includes an engagement portion which engages with a part of the heating unit when the action member moves from the first position to the second position. The heating unit engages with the engagement portion to move from a reference position to an evacuation position.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2023Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc.Inventor: Takuro Morita

The first area is an area more on a downstream side of a passing direction of a medium than a center of a pressure area in the passing direction, and also closer to the pressure area than an apex of the fixing member on an opposite side of the pressure area. The first contact area and the second contact area are each tilted at a certain gradient so as to be set apart from the end portion of the fixing member in the axial direction from a side of the apex toward a side of the pressure area.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2023Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc.Inventors: Hironori Takahashi, Masakazu Uehara, Tomohiro Watatani, Shota Onishi, Yuhiro Sakai
