  • Patent number: 11875281
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to diamond trading system and method for trading diamonds. The system and method may allow rough diamond sellers to list their diamonds for sale individually and enter an ask price for each listed diamond. The system and method may also allow rough diamond buyers to submit their polished diamond parameters and orders. The order may contain a bid price. The system and method may then determine if any of the listed diamonds match to the polished diamond parameters and ordering requirements and if any of the matched diamonds have a bid price at or higher than a ask price. If there is a match and the bid price is at or higher than the ask price, the system and method allow the transaction to proceed.

  • Patent number: 11876691
Abstract: An end-to-end telemetry system for a Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) communication network having multiple end-servers. The system includes an RDMA tracer for each end-server, one or more programmable data planes, and a telemetry collector. Each RDMA tracer extracts host-level telemetry information for one or more RDMA sessions associated with the corresponding end-server. Each programmable data plane extracts network-level telemetry information for one or more RDMA sessions associated with the programmable data plane. The telemetry collector (i) receives the host-level telemetry information from the RDMA tracers and the network-level telemetry information from the one or more programmable data planes and (ii) generates telemetry reports based on the host-level and network-level telemetry information. In some implementations, the system enables real-time monitoring of RDMA traffic at the RDMA protocol level granularity across all RDMA-enabled workloads for different use cases.

  • Patent number: 11872887
Abstract: A display system and a vehicular head-up display system using the same is disclosed. The display system includes an image generating device, a polarization reflection film, a light-transmitting substrate, a curved wave plate, a curved reflector and a transparent substrate. The image generating device emits polarized light. The curved wave plate adheres to the reflective curved surface of the curved reflector through an optical adhesive. The curved wave plate and the reflective surface have the same curvatures. The reflective curved surface faces towards the polarization reflection film. When the curved reflector reflects the polarized light sequentially passing through the polarization reflection film and the curved wave plate to the polarization reflection film through the curved wave plate, the curved wave plate converts the polarization direction of the polarized light. Finally, the polarization reflection film reflects the polarized light to the transparent substrate to generate a virtual image.

  • Patent number: 11873991
Abstract: A system for offshore electricity generation and direct carbon dioxide sequestration includes an offshore marine platform on which is mounted a plurality of internal combustion engines. The marine platform is deployed above an offshore, subsea storage reservoir. The internal combustion engines drive electric generators to produce electricity. Flue gas from the internal combustion engines is directed to a carbon dioxide capture system adjacent the internal combustion engines and in fluid communication with the flue gas exhausts of the internal combustion engines. The carbon dioxide capture system captures gaseous carbon dioxide from the flue gas, and then injects the captured carbon dioxide directly into the offshore, subsea storage reservoir. Compressors in fluid communication with the carbon dioxide capture system may be utilized to increase the pressure of the captured gaseous carbon dioxide to a desired injection pressure.

  • Patent number: 11873301
Abstract: Curatives and their resulting thermosets and other crosslinked polymers can reduce thermal expansion mismatch between an encapsulant and objects that are encapsulated. This can be accomplished by incorporating a negative CTE moiety into the thermoset resin or polymer backbone. The negative CTE moiety can be a thermal contractile unit that shrinks as a result of thermally induced conversion from a twist-boat to chair or cis/trans isomerization upon heating. Beyond CTE matching, other potential uses for these crosslinked polymers and thermosets include passive energy generation, energy absorption at high strain rates, mechanophores, actuators, and piezoelectric applications.

  • Patent number: 11874386
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining a polarization state of an input RF signal. Two distinct RF antennas receive the input RF signal and output a first antenna signal and a second antenna signal. Polarizsations of the first and second antenna signals are orthogonal to one another. The first antenna signal is converted to a first optical signal, and the first optical signal is passed through a first optical signal to introduce a first delay. The delayed first optical signal is converted to a first RF signal. An amplitude ratio and a phase difference are determined between the first RF signal and a second RF signal that is associated with the second antenna and optionally includes a second delay. A polarization angle or polarization type of the input RF signal is determined based on the amplitude ratio and phase difference of the first and second RF signals.
