The coupler switching circuit can provide an indication of radio frequency power generated by the radio frequency coupler to a first input/output port. The coupler switching circuit can also pass an indication of radio frequency power received at the first input/output port to a second input/output port, and pass an indication of radio frequency power received at the second input/output port to the first input/output port.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for identifying a subset of interest from a general population and for monitoring a database of daily activity logs associated with the general population in order to identify database entries indicative of an occurrence of a pre-defined trigger event that is associated with a member of the subset of interest. In particular, systems and methods are described that allow a massive database of daily activity logs to be monitored to identify trigger events that have occurred within the past twenty-four hours or other very recent time period. Embodiments are described that may be advantageously used by a provider of credit-related products and/or services who wishes to accurately target prospective customers, identified by the system, based on occurrence of a trigger event, as being in a decision-making phase of credit shopping, for purposes of making a timely and targeted offering relevant to the customers' current activities.

Abstract: Systems and methods for data storage and data streaming in decentralized, self-organized networks are provided. A plurality of computing devices are disposed in a unidirectional communication ring having a plurality of serially-connected spikes. Each spike includes n computing devices, and n×p connections directly connecting each of the n computing devices to p downstream computing devices. Each computing device is configured to request and receive an inventory of the plurality of computing devices; select a computing device from the plurality of computing devices; transmit a join request comprising the inventory to the selected computing device; and request reorganizing the unidirectional communication ring in response to the receipt of the transmitted join request after propagation through each of the plurality of spikes of the unidirectional communication ring.

Abstract: A system and method for managing virtual queues with user-level targeted interactions. A cloud-based queue service manages a plurality of queues hosted by one or more entities. The queue service is in constant communication with the entities providing queue management, queue analysis, and queue recommendations. The queue service is likewise in direct communication with queued persons. Sending periodic updates such as targeted interactions in the form of products, services, and callback opportunities based on analysis of entity data, user-specific data, and data associated with all persons or groups at a given location, both physical or virtual.

Abstract: Multiple mobile device identifiers (IDs) of mobile devices and corresponding geolocations of the multiple of mobile device IDs are received from multiple mobile hubs during a time period. A selection of an incident that occurred at a particular geolocation at a particular date and time is then received. One or more mobile hubs of the multiple mobile hubs that were present within a selected geographical zone that includes the particular geolocation during a selected time frame that includes the particular date and time are identified based on at least one corresponding mobile device ID of the one or more mobile hubs. Sensor data obtained by at least one user device communicatively connected to the one or more mobile hubs of the multiple hubs are then associated with the incident.

Abstract: An identification card registration system uses a cloud-based server to authenticate and register an identification card from a user. A device captures card data for the identification card and transaction information generated at the device. The card data and transaction information is sent to the cloud-based server as a primary notification for registering the identification card. The cloud-based server sends an alert to an administrator to approve or decline the registration. During the approval process, the identification card subsequently is used at the device or another device. The cloud-based server provides notice that the identification card is awaiting approval and takes corrective action after too many registration attempts are tracked.

Abstract: A negative electrode composition, a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery including the same, a lithium secondary battery including a negative electrode, and a method a manufacturing the negative electrode. The negative electrode composition includes a silicon-containing active material; a negative electrode conductive material; and a negative electrode binder. The negative electrode binder includes a first binder having a Young's modulus of 1×103 MPa or more and a second binder having a strain value of 15% or more. The negative electrode binder satisfies the equation 1?X/Y<4, where Y means parts by weight of the first binder based on 100 parts by weight of the negative electrode binder, and X means parts by weight of the second binder based on 100 parts by weight of the negative electrode binder.

Abstract: A tracking detector device for use in a free-space optics (FSO) system includes a position sensor and an optical receiver coupled to the bottom surface of the position sensor. The position sensor has an optical aperture configured to allow a portion of incoming light to pass through the position sensor and a plurality of position receivers located adjacent to the optical aperture and configured to sense portions of the incoming light. The tracking detector device may also include a focusing optic disposed adjacent to the bottom surface of the position sensor and configured to focus the portion of the incoming light that passed through the position sensor onto the optical receiver. The tracking detector may advantageously be employed in FSO communications systems and provide fully automated alignment with an incoming light beam under computer control.

Abstract: An adjustable UV emission system includes a sanitizing interface having a first side and a second side opposing the first side where the first side is arranged to face an object when positioned adjacent to the first side. The system also includes a UV emission interface positioned adjacent to the second side of the sanitizing interface. The UV emission interface includes at least one sensor arranged to detect the object and at least one UV light emitter arranged to emit UV light through the sanitizing interface toward the object. The adjustable UV emission interface is arranged to: i) adjustably conform to the shape of a surface of the object facing the sanitizing interface, and ii) emit the UV light toward the sanitizing interface in the shape of the surface of the object.

The battery exchange system may discharge a battery pack in which charging has been stopped, calculate at least one state information of the discharged battery pack, resume charging of the battery pack, calculate the impedance information from the at least one state information of the discharged battery pack, and determine a state of health (SoH) of the battery pack and whether the battery pack is defective.
