  • Patent number: 11929925
Abstract: A router encapsulates a payload of a packet in a generic routing encapsulation (GRE) header that defines a connectionless GRE tunnel. The router also encapsulates the payload and the GRE header in one or more reliable transport headers associated with a connection formed using a reliable transport layer. The router conveys the packet via the connectionless GRE tunnel over the reliable transport layer. In some cases, the GRE header is a network virtualization using GRE (NVGRE) header that allows multiple NVGRE overlays to be multiplexed onto a single IP underlay tunnel. The reliable transport layer can be implemented as Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) layer, a QUIC protocol, a Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) or a QUIC protocol to establish a set of multiplexed sub-connections or streams over a single connection between two endpoints of the tunnel, or a transport layer security (TLS) cryptographic protocol.

  • Patent number: 11929870
Abstract: Monitoring systems and methods for use in security, safety, and business process applications utilizing a correlation engine are disclosed. Sensory data from one or more sensors are captured and analyzed to detect one or more events in the sensory data. The events are correlated by a correlation engine, optionally by weighing the events based on attributes of the sensors that were used to detect the primitive events. The events are then monitored for an occurrence of one or more correlations of interest, or one or more critical events of interest. Finally, one or more actions are triggered based on a detection of one or more correlations of interest, one or more anomalous events, or one or more critical events of interest. A hierarchical storage manager, having access to a hierarchy of two or more data storage devices, is provided to store data from the one or more sensors.

  • Patent number: 11929383
Abstract: A pixelated image sensor capable of simultaneously supporting an EVS mode and an image-frame capture mode of operation. An individual pixel of the sensor comprises two distinct sets of subpixels involved in the two modes, respectively, and at least two corresponding, functionally different and independent electrical circuits. The metal interconnect structure of the image-sensor IC is implemented using a wiring topology in which spatial overlap between the wirings of the two electrical circuits is optimized (e.g., minimized) to reduce inter-circuit crosstalk when the two circuits are active at the same time. Such wiring topology may be beneficial, e.g., due to the resulting improvements in the image quality for both operating modes.

  • Patent number: 11928662
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe providing feedback to a shopper at a POS system using a computer vision system. Many items at a store may lack barcodes or other identifying marks such as produce. The shopper may have to perform an action to identify the item to the POS system. The computer vision system can double check the identify provided by the shopper to reduce mistakes and deter nefarious actors. If the computer vision system cannot independently confirm that the item being purchased matched the identity provided by the shopper, the POS system can display a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes an image of the item captured by the computer vision system along with identification data of the item identified by the shopper. This gives the shopper a chance to correct any mistakes.

  • Patent number: 11929941
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to method and a system for managing a decentralized access to a resource. A user of a client device having a third-party application installed therein request to join the mesh network based on invite received from the owner of the IoT gateway. The mesh network comprises one or more IoT gateway. One gateway is identified based on the topology of the client device, and an optimal connection between the client device and the identified gateway is determined. The third-party application may send a resource access request for accessing a resource of the mesh network and access the requested resource through the optimal connection route thus determined. Thus, the disclosure enables a peer-to-peer mesh network infrastructure that allows secure access to the resource by a third-party application without using a cloud server to route the resource access request from the client device to the gateway.

  • Patent number: 11929317
Abstract: New types, structures, and arrangements of capacitor networks for harmonic control and other purposes are presented. In one example, an integrated device includes a capacitor network and one or more power devices. The capacitor network includes a bond pad and metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitors. The capacitors include a first metal layer, a second metal layer, an insulator layer between the first and second metal layers, and one or more through-substrate vias. The first metal layer is coupled to the bond pad, and the second metal layer is coupled to a ground plane on a bottom side of the substrate by the vias. A number of capacitors can be arranged around the bond pad in the capacitor network for a tailored capacitance. A matching network in the integrated device can incorporate the capacitor network to reduce loss, provide better harmonic termination, and achieve better phase alignment for the power devices.
