Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention facilitate efficient and effective increased memory cell density configuration. In one embodiment, a memory system comprises: an array of addressable memory cells, wherein the addressable memory cells of the array comprise magnetic random access memory (MRAM) cells and wherein further the array is organized into a plurality of banks; an engine configured to control access to the addressable memory cells organized into the plurality of banks; and a pipeline configured to perform access control and communication operations between the engine and the array of addressable memory cells. At least a portion of operations associated with accessing at least a portion of one of the plurality of memory banks via the pipeline are performed substantially concurrently or in parallel with at least a portion of operations associated with accessing at least another portion of one of the plurality of memory banks via the pipeline.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to first aid articles and more specifically tourniquets suitable for one handed application. One embodiment of the invention is directed to a tourniquet having a base defining first and second ends. A constricting band is attached to and extends from the first end of the base. A windlass handle is engaged with the constricting band. The constricting band is threaded through a self cinching stepped buckle. A buckle connector includes a hook member that engages the stepped buckle and is partly held in place through urging against a loop of the constriction band.

Abstract: A consistent and repeatable thawing method of frozen samples in a bag-format storage vessel is described herein. Methods and systems may allow for multiple bag-format storage vessel sizes to be used in the same device. A subset of a plurality of sensors may be qualified for the thawing method. The method may further include heating a frozen sample using a first heater bank and a second heater bank. In addition, the method may include measuring a plurality of second temperatures of the bag-format vessel. At or slightly after a second threshold temperature, the method may include heating using the first heater bank and terminating heating using the second heater bank. The method may include terminating the heating of the partially thawed sample using the first heater bank after the partially thawed sample has been heated using the first heater bank for a duration.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a stack-folding type of electrode assembly and a lithium metal battery including the same. In detail, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the lithium metal battery is realized as a stack-folding type, and the insulation tape is respectively attached to the upper side and the lower side of the folding separation film, thereby solving the drawback of exposure of the lithium dendrite and the dead lithium produced on the surface of the negative electrode during the charging and discharging process.
Abstract: A method for producing a corrosion resistant aluminum alloy extrusion. The method includes providing molten alloy with a composition comprising ?0.30, % by weight of silicon, ?0.40, % by weight of iron, 0.01-0.6% manganese, ?0.30, % magnesium, ?0.70, % zinc, 0.05-0.35% chromium, 0.02-0.20% zirconium, ?0.25% titanium, ?0.20% vanadium, ?0.10% copper, up to 0.15% by weight of other impurities, each not greater than 0.03% by weight, and the balance aluminum. The method includes casting the alloy into an extrusion billet, subjecting the billet to a homogenization treatment at a holding temperature of 550 to 620 deg.C for 6 to 10 hours, heating the billet to a temperature of 400 to 550 deg.C, and extruding the billet to a tube.

Abstract: Air conditioner units and methods of operating the same are provided. A method of operating an air conditioner unit includes measuring an ambient temperature and estimating a setpoint temperature of the air conditioner unit. Abstract: A terminal component includes a first metal and a second metal overlapped on the first metal, the first metal having a part to be connected to an internal terminal, and the second metal having a part to be exposed to the outside of a battery case.
