Abstract: An object pickup system includes an object pickup device and a calculation device. The object pickup device includes a first bracket, a suction cup installed on the first bracket and adapted to be affixed to a top surface of an object, and a distance sensor installed on the first bracket and adapted to rotate with the first bracket to scan the top surface of the object. The calculation device is operatively connected to the distance sensor. The calculation device is adapted to calculate a distance from the top surface of the object to the distance sensor and a position of an edge of an opening on the top surface of the object based on the distance data collected by the distance sensor during a scanning operation.

Abstract: A column signal processing unit includes a current control circuit (110) and a feedback circuit (120). The current control circuit (110) is electrically connected between a data signal line (VSL) and a supply reference potential (GND). The feedback circuit (120) is configured to reduce a capacitive load of the data signal line (VSL). A feedback path (121) of the feedback circuit (120) includes a series connection of a feedback capacitor (122) and a delay element (123), wherein the delay element (123) is configured to increase a time delay in the feedback path (121).

The positive electrode plate includes a positive electrode active material layer that includes a positive electrode active material, a conductive material, and a binder. The positive electrode active material may include a lithium nickel-containing oxide that has at least one of single particles or quasi-single particles, and the conductive material includes a combination of single-walled carbon nanotubes and bundle-type carbon nanotubes.

The luminescence element irradiates an object (X) with light. The light receiving element receives light from the luminescence element reflected from the object (X). In addition, a bonding wire (W) electrically connecting the light receiving element and the substrate is not disposed on an edge of the light receiving element on a side of the luminescence element.

Abstract: Thermal energy management kits are described herein. A thermal energy management kit described herein includes one or more thermal storage cells. Individual thermal storage cells have a container. The container may be formed from a thermally conductive material and has an interior volume. The thermal storage cell further includes a phase change material disposed within the interior volume of the container. Thermal energy management kits described herein may optionally further include one or more mounting structures.

Abstract: A sample preparation blister pack can include a plurality of reservoirs formed as blisters. The reservoirs can have an actuatable barrier layer and a seal barrier layer with contents of the reservoirs between the actuatable barrier layer and the seal barrier layer. The contents can be to facilitate isolating a biological component from a biological sample. The individual reservoirs can be adapted to release the contents through the seal barrier layer upon actuation of the actuatable barrier layer. The blister pack can have a width and a length and the reservoirs can be lined up along the length. In this example, a first reservoir contains an inert mechanical fluid and a second reservoir contains a reagent, a buffer, or a combination thereof.

The controller determines a nozzle corresponding to an image to be printed, and causes the recording head to eject ink from the nozzle. The correction processor detects an abnormally ejecting nozzle out of the nozzles in the recording head, and designates the abnormally ejecting nozzle as a target nozzle, and performs correction processing based on a status of the target nozzle, to the image. The correction processor also adds the detected abnormally ejecting nozzle to history data, each time a detecting operation is performed, and selects a nozzle included in the history data as an additional target nozzle, out of the nozzles that have not been detected as the abnormally ejecting nozzle, through the current detecting operation, and adds the selected nozzle to the target nozzle.

Abstract: A temporal-aware or permutation-dependent Graph Neural Network (GNN) is disclosed. The example GNN is implemented by combining temporal-awareness with multi-layer neighborhood aggregation to further provide the GNN with inductive capabilities with respect to generating embeddings of a dynamic graph, all without creating multiple time snapshots of the graph. By using a temporal-aware message pass scheme involving a temporal-aware and permutation-dependent GNN, a set of temporal-aware local neighborhood aggregator functions may be effective trained and used for generating embeddings for unknow nodes and for providing more accurate embeddings for subsequent prediction tasks.

Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) test device such as a spectrum analyzer may include an RF attenuator to attenuate a received RF signal; a mixer to down-convert the attenuated RF signal; an IF attenuator to attenuate the down-converted signal; an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to digitize the attenuated, down-converted signal; and a processor, which may select attenuation values for one or more of the RF attenuator and the IF attenuator based on an error magnitude vector (EVM) analysis, an RF signal type, and/or a signal level at an input of the ADC. The processor may use a look-up table for the selection. Initial attenuation values may be selected based on an expected RF signal type, RF signal frequency, and/or RF signal bandwidth. The attenuation values may also be selected in an iterative manner stepping the attenuation values up or down.
