Abstract: The present technology relates to a semiconductor chip and a receiving apparatus capable of suppressing increases in size and cost due to circuit complexity. A tuner includes an RF input terminal to which an RF signal of terrestrial broadcasting is input, a first-IF input terminal to which a first-IF signal of satellite digital broadcasting is input, a first filter that filters a signal in a frequency band lower than a predetermined frequency, a second filter that filters a signal in a frequency band equal to or higher than the predetermined frequency, and a switch that causes the RF signal to be input to the first filter or to the second filter by switching according to a frequency of the RF signal, and causes the first-IF signal to be input to the first filter or to the second filter by switching according to a frequency of the first-IF signal. The present technology may be applied to a broadcast receiving system.

Abstract: An autonomous vehicle is disclosed that includes a velocity sensor; a radar system; a digital storage medium; and a controller in communication with the digital storage medium, radar system, and the velocity sensor. The controller, for example, may retrieve map data from the digital storage medium; receive current radar data from the radar system; receive autonomous vehicle velocity data from the velocity sensor; identify radar data points in the current radar data that represent objects in motion; remove radar data points from the current radar data that represent objects in motion; and/or match the radar data with the map data to return location data.

Abstract: A decoder includes circuitry configured to receive a bitstream, extract a header including a list of reference frames available for motion compensation, such as global motion compensation, determine, using the header, a motion model for a current block, the motion relative to a reference frame contained in the list of reference frames, and decode the current block using the motion model. Abstract: A fluid cargo handling system with a standoff system includes a floating marine platform having an elongated first platform side, an elongated second platform side and a buoyant hull with a hull bottom. A fluid cargo transfer hose is carried on a hose reel mounted on the platform. A drive system maintains the marine platform at an offset distance from another marine platform, preventing physical contact therebetween. The drive system has at least two drive devices adjacent the first platform side and at least two drive devices adjacent the second platform side, with each of the drive devices along the first side engaging a separate driveline extending from the hull bottom adjacent the first side towards the second platform side and each of the drive devices along the second side engaging a separate driveline extending from the hull bottom adjacent the second side towards the first platform side.

Abstract: A cable card assembly includes a circuit card and cables terminated to the circuit card. Each cable has signal conductors, an insulator, and a cable shield. The cable card includes conductor holders forward of the insulators manufactured from a dielectric material and having conductor channels that receive the signal conductors. The cable card assembly includes ground shields coupled to the circuit card providing electrical shielding for the cables. Each ground shield includes a side walls and an end wall. The end wall has an end wall connecting portion coupled to the cable shield. The first side wall has a first side wall connecting portion coupled to the cable shield. The second side wall has a second side wall connecting portion coupled to the cable shield.

In a semiconductor device, wiring layers of a first multilayer wiring layer formed on a first semiconductor substrate and a second multilayer wiring layer formed on a second semiconductor substrate are bonded to each other by wafer bonding. The semiconductor device includes a capacitive element including an upper electrode, a lower electrode, and a capacitive insulating film between the upper electrode and the lower electrode. One electrode of the upper electrode and the lower electrode is formed with a first conductive layer of the first multilayer wiring layer and a second conductive layer of the second multilayer wiring layer. Mobility reports are received at a radio access network controller from multiple network node devices, each mobility report reporting at least one individual failure event to complement one or more aggregated mobility event counters and/or one or more aggregated performance measurement reports. The mobility reports are related to client devices in one or more service areas. The radio access network controller analyzes the received mobility reports. In response to the analyzing resulting in a perceived need for an update of a cell configuration of a service area of the one or more service areas, the radio access network controller determines updated cell configuration information for the service area. The updated cell configuration information is transmitted from the radio access network controller to-wards at least one network node device in the service area.
