Abstract: A document management system includes a facsimile device or a multi-peripheral (MFP) device having facsimile and scanning components. A cloud based server stores a policy that is used to manage documents received at the facsimile device or scanning component. When a document is received at the facsimile device or scanning component, a parameter is used to determine an action to be taken according to the policy. Such actions include forwarding the received document to the cloud based server or sending it as an attachment in an email. When received at the cloud based server, the policy is used to categorize the document according to an attribute to make the document available within a document management service.

Abstract: Systems and methods for data transfer and platform integration using quick response (QR) codes are provided. The system generates first item data associated with a first property item, generates one or more QR codes that encrypt and store the first item data, and sends or displays the one or more QR codes. The system reads the one or more QR codes from an application program installed on a computing device to obtain the encrypted first item data. The system decrypts, using a decryption key, the encrypted first item data to obtain the first item data from the QR code. The system generates, by the application program, first analysis data based at least in part on the first item data.

The second position is a position separated from a third position, at which a first distal end of a separator is disposed, by a thickness of a positive mixture layer in a second width-wise direction.

Abstract: Provided is a semiconductor element that can generate power with high efficiency and has high durability. A multilayer junction photoelectric conversion element according to an embodiment includes: a first electrode; a first photoactive layer including a perovskite semiconductor; a first doped layer; a second photoactive layer including silicon; a second doped layer; a passivation layer; and a second electrode in this order. The interlayer interface existing between the first photoactive layer and the adjacent layer is a substantially smooth surface, and the multilayer junction photoelectric conversion element further includes a light scattering layer that penetrate a part of the passivation layer and electrically join the second doped layer and the second electrode. The element can be manufactured by a method including forming a bottom cell including a second active layer and then forming a first photoactive layer by coating.

Abstract: An improved electrohydraulic brake valve with overpressure protection is provided. The electrohydraulic brake valve includes an integrated pressure limiting device coupled to a modulating valve and a solenoid assembly. The pressure limiting device transmits an axial force from the solenoid plunger to the valve spool up to a set limit, which corresponds to a maximum output pressure. Above this set limit, a pre-loaded spring within the pressure limiting device compresses, thereby isolating further travel of the solenoid plunger from the valve spool. The pressure limiting device mechanically limits the output pressure of the electrohydraulic brake valve to a maximum level to prevent overpressure in the brake system, adding a level of safety not previously available.

Abstract: Methods, compositions and kits useful in the detection, assessment, diagnosis, prognosis and/or treatment of brain injuries, especially mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) or concussion, are based upon detection of changes in levels of certain protein biomarkers in a subject undergoing testing, or upon detection of changes in levels of certain protein biomarkers in conjunction with neuroimaging analyses to detect changes in vascular or blood brain barrier (BBB) permeability in the brain, or to detect damage to fiber tracts in the brain, in which changes in biomarker levels correlate with detection of changes in BBB permeability or in brain fiber tract or white matter damage in a subject with brain injury such as mTBI or concussion.

Abstract: A printing system includes an estimation system that stores the dot count value and a stored consumable use value for a recurring print job. The dot count value relates to the dot count of a rendered image for the print job for use in printing operations using estimate settings of the printing device. For a later instance of the print job, the estimation system retrieves the dot count value. It also obtains the current settings for the printing device and applies these settings to the dot count value to determine a current consumable use value. Based on the current consumable use value, the estimation system determines whether use of the current settings will result in an increase of ink or toner use.
