  • Patent number: 11773046
Abstract: A facile solvothermal method can be used to synthesize metal alkanoate nanoparticles using a metal nitrate precursor, alcohol/water, and alkanoic acid. The method can produce lanthanide (e.g., La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, or Yb) and transition metal (e.g., Ag, Co, Cu, or Pb) alkanoate nanoparticles (<100 nm) with spherical morphology. These hybrid nanomaterials adopt a lamellar structure consisting of inorganic metal cation layers separated by an alkanoate anion bilayer and exhibit liquid crystalline phases during melting. The metal alkanoate nanoparticles can be calcined to produce metal oxide nanoparticles.

  • Patent number: 11777846
Abstract: SR-enabled network nodes capable of replicating and recombining data packets in a manner that enables reliable, low-latency communications. In an example embodiment, a replicator node transmits to a combinator node multiple copies of a payload over different respective network paths, with the SR headers of the corresponding packets each having a replication segment identifier or a respective SID stack that includes the replication segment identifier. The combinator node delivers/forwards to the corresponding application/destination only the first-to-arrive payload copy and discards any subsequent payload copies based on the replication segment identifier. Some embodiments may beneficially reduce latency and packet loss concurrently and consistently. For example, packet loss may be reduced due to the transmission of multiple copies of the same payload over multiple network paths. Effective latency may be reduced due to the selection of the first-to-arrive payload copy for delivery/forwarding.

  • Patent number: 11778342
Abstract: Image quality is to be improved in a solid-state image pickup element that performs time delay integration. A correlated double sampling circuit generates a frame in which a predetermined number of lines each including a plurality of digital signals are arranged. A TDI frame memory retains a (K?1)-th frame generated before a K-th frame. A time delay integration circuit performs time delay integration processing of adding the line having a predetermined address in the K-th frame and the line having an address at a certain distance from the predetermined address in the (K?1)-th frame.

  • Patent number: 11776033
Abstract: An electronic computer-implemented and interactive platform is described, which permits the offer, sale, and distribution of diamonds by sellers to purchasers and, as a result, into the overall diamond marketplace. Each diamond is scanned in order to create a three-dimensional (3D) virtual model that can include images and/or other data that digitally identifies that diamond, providing a “fingerprint” of the diamond. The purchaser may have highly confidential and proprietary information that specifies the critical details of its manufacturing process for each type of cut of polished diamond, referred to as polished diamond parameters (PDPs). A planning system is used to offload time consuming and computationally expensive planning operations from the manufacturer (or other purchaser), and does so prior to a purchase. The planning system and a matching process are used by the platform to enable the data in each PDP file to be applied to the 3D virtual model of each individual diamond.

  • Patent number: 11773708
Abstract: A sand bypass separator is provided for separating particulate matter from a fluid mixture in a production well and directing the separated particulate matter away from a pump intake. The separator includes an outer tube, an inner tube positioned within the outer tube. The outer tube has a plurality of slots to allow the fluid mixture to enter the separator between the outer tube and the inner tube. As the fluid mixture moves downward, the fluid mixture reaches a downward velocity sufficient to allow the particulate matter in the fluid mixture to continue downward as the fluid is drawn into the inner tube through the pump intake. A bypass that extends from above the pump intake to below the pump intake to collect and direct the separated particulate matter separated below the pump intake may also be included.

  • Patent number: 11776073
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining how to dispatch power to a property from a generator are provided. According to certain aspects, a controller associated with the generator may retrieve or access a set of data indicating time of use rates associated with utility power, performance characteristics of the generator, and/or energy usage data. Based on the data, the controller may determine a set point corresponding to when it may be beneficial to dispatch generator power to the property instead of utility power. At the set point, the controller may facilitate supplementing power from utility power with power from the generator. Additionally, the controller may collect usage and performance data associated with dispatch of the generator power.

  • Patent number: 11775714
Abstract: A robust predictive model. A plurality of different predictive models for a target feature are run, and a comparative analysis provided for each predictive model that meet minimum performance criteria for the target feature. One of the predictive models is selected, either manually or automatically, based on predefined criteria. For semi-automatic selection, a static or dynamic survey is generated for obtaining user preferences for parameters associated with the target feature. The survey results will be used to generate a model that illustrates parameter trade-offs, which will be used to finalize the optimal predictive model for the user.

  • Patent number: 11772791
Abstract: UAV tether systems are provided that reliably deploy and retract cables capable of high-power and high-bandwidth data transmission. The tether system spools cables in a single layer to promote heat dissipation thereby allowing the use of lower-diameter cables. The tether systems further utilize a lightweight converter that achieves a high-voltage power transmission across a cable that is stepped down to a plurality of lower-voltage outputs usable by a UAV and accompanying payloads. The converter is constructed in a manner that promotes heat dissipation through the use of multi-layer PCBs and separate power modules PCBs mounted above main PCBs to create a cavity where forced air can reach heat sinks affixed to the power modules that extend into the cavity.
