Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for intelligent tracking and transformation between interconnected sensor devices of mixed type is disclosed. Metadata derived from image data from a camera is compared to different metadata derived from radar data from a radar device to determine whether an object in a Field of View (FOV) of one of the camera and the radar device is an identified object that was previously in the FOV of the other of the camera and the radar device.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for establishing triggers for the opening of one or multiple gates to a mold cavity of an injection molding system, followed by a sequence of predetermined valve pin movements over the course on an injection cycle. In one embodiment, the invention provides a graphical user interface and control system enabling a user to select from and arrange a plurality of virtual icons into a user-defined virtual sequence that define associated triggering events and actuator controlled pin movements over the course of an injection cycle. In various embodiments, the apparatus and method allows the system operator to view a simulated profile of such triggers and movements and to compare the simulated profile to an actual profile to access differences and make adjustments to the triggers and sequencing more quickly and efficiently. This is particularly useful in sequential molding systems where multiple gates need to be programmed and adjusted to compensate for variations from a predetermined sequence.

Abstract: Techniques for building and maintaining cyber security threat detection models are described. The techniques include data selection, algorithm selection, risk score algorithm selection, model outcome selection, and model automation. During data selection, data is received from various sources and in various formats. The data is then tokenized into vector form and compared to preexisting vectors. If the vectors are equal, the tokenized vector is saved in the database. If the vectors are not equal, a new vector, in key value pair format, is formed. After which, algorithms can be selected to detect anomalies within the data and assign a risk score to the data. Subsequently, a matrix is formed with the vector, selected algorithm, and parameters of the data that were analyzed. The matrix is then stored for application with future data based on a predetermined rule. The output can be modeled in various user-friendly methods.
Abstract: A system and method for analysis and management of data distribution in a distributed database environment. A method may include analyzing information related to transactions between an application and a plurality of data storage systems to produce analysis results. Analysis results may be used to produce a set of rules for defining logical data chunks. A logical data chunk may include at least a portion a data set stored in the plurality of data storage systems. A data distribution policy may be defined based on the set of rules. Abstract: A holder supports a separation member. When a sheet cassette is attached to a main body portion, as the sheet cassette is moved in its attachment direction, a moving mechanism causes the holder to move from an initial position to an operation position. When the holder is at the initial position, the separation member is spaced from a feeding member and is able to pass below the feed-out member. When at the operation position, the holder presses the separation member against the feeding member. When the sheet cassette is attached to the main body portion, the moving mechanism causes the holder to move to the operation position after the separation member passes below the feed-out member. When the sheet cassette is drawn from the main body portion, the moving mechanism causes the holder to move to the initial position before the separation member reaches below the feed-out member.
Abstract: A chemical/biological vehicle survivability barrier (CVSB) has an inflatable air beam shelter (IABS), also referred to as a tunnel-like enclosure, for inserting and coupling to the interior of a vehicle. The CVSB further has at least one air handling and power unit (AHPU) coupled to an exterior fitting of the IABS. The AHPU withdraws potentially contaminated air from inside the tunnel-like enclosure, filtrates the air by removing contaminants from the air withdrawn, and returns the filtrated air back into the tunnel-like enclosure.
Abstract: The subject invention provides materials and methods for improving facial skin, hair and scalp health using cosmetic yeast-based masks. In a specific embodiment, the subject invention provides a yeast-based mask for application to the face, which can improve the health and appearance of thereof. In another specific embodiment, the subject invention provides a yeast-based mask for application to the hair and scalp, which can aid in preventing hair loss, as well as improve the health and appearance of the hair and scalp. Methods of using the yeast-based masks are also provided.

The secondary battery disclosed here includes a flat wound electrode body. The wound electrode body has a pair of curved portions and a flat portion. In addition, a positive electrode starting end portion inside the wound electrode body has a first region extending along the flat portion. On the other hand, a negative electrode starting end portion inside the wound electrode body has a second region extending along the flat portion, a folded portion folded back along a first curved portion, and a third region extending from the folded portion along the flat portion.
Abstract: A document conveying device includes a sheet feeding tray, a discharge tray, a conveying mechanism and a document pressing member. On the sheet feeding tray, a document is placed. The discharge tray is provided below the sheet feeding tray. The conveying mechanism conveys the document from the sheet feeding tray to the discharge tray via a reading position. Abstract: A sheet feeding device includes a sheet table, a sheet sensor, a first actuator including a contact portion and a first screen, and a second actuator including an effector and a second screen. The first actuator rotates in a second direction when the contact portion is lifted by a sheet, and rotates in a first direction when the contact portion falls into a hole. The second actuator rotates in the second direction such that the second slit overlaps with the first slit, when the effector is subjected to pressure of the sheet. The first slit is formed so as to differ a size of an aperture, depending on whether the contact portion is in contact with the sheet, or in the hole. The second slit is formed so as to reduce the size of the aperture compared with when the effector is free from the pressure.
