  • Patent number: 11549903
Abstract: A method is provided for subtractively processing a layer of etchable material formed over an electrically conductive surface region of a workpiece. The workpiece is immersed in a liquid solution, generally but not exclusively a conductive solution, that comprises an etchant for the etchable material, so that etching of the etchable material is initiated. An electric circuit is connected to include a control electrode, a reference electrode, and the electrically conductive surface region of the workpiece. The electric circuit is used to monitor the development process dynamically at each of a plurality of intervals during the etching. The etching is terminated when the electrochemical signal satisfies a criterion indicating that the etching is complete.

  • Patent number: 11551500
Abstract: In a method and system for opening a container having a lock device, a mobile terminal exchanges data with the lock device using near-field data transmission and exchanges data with a server using far-filed data transmission. The mobile terminal stores container reconfiguration data and container operating data, which include at least time data and access data. The server generates new container reconfiguration data in response to receiving the container operating data from the mobile terminal and transmits the new container reconfiguration data to the mobile terminal using the far-field data transmission. The new container reconfiguration data are then transmitted from the mobile terminal to the lock device using the near-filed transmission.

  • Patent number: 11552194
Abstract: Existing semiconductor transistor processes may be leveraged to form lateral extensions adjacent to a conventional gate structure. The dielectric thickness under these lateral gate extensions can be varied to optimize device channel resistance and enable resistance to breakdown at high operating voltages. These extensions may be patterned with dimensions that are not limited by lithographic resolution and overlay capabilities and are compatible with conventional processing for ease of integration with other devices. The lateral extensions and dielectric spacers may be used to form self-aligned source, drain, and channel regions. A thin dielectric layer may be formed under an extension gate to reduce channel resistance. A thick dielectric layer may be formed under an extension gate to improve operation voltage range. The present invention provides an innovative structure with lateral gate extensions which may be referred to as EGMOS (extended gate metal oxide semiconductor).
