Abstract: There is provided a method for collecting and reusing an active material from positive electrode scrap. The positive electrode active material reuse method of the present disclosure includes (a) thermally treating positive electrode scrap comprising a lithium cobalt oxide positive electrode active material layer on a current collector in air for thermal decomposition of a binder and a conductive material in the active material layer, to separate the current collector from the active material layer, and collecting an active material in the active material layer, (b) washing the collected active material with a lithium compound solution which is basic in an aqueous solution and drying, and (c) annealing the washed active material with an addition of a lithium precursor to obtain a reusable active material.

Abstract: A method for minimizing disturbance due to wind forces of a trailer being towed by a vehicle. The method also includes receiving, at a data processing hardware data from a sensor system for the tow vehicle. The method also includes determining, at the data processing hardware, a passing object profile. The method also includes predicting, at the data processing hardware, a wind force profile based upon the sensor data the passing object profile. The method also includes determining, at the data processing hardware, at least one preventative action for the vehicle to minimize the effect of disturbance on the trailer.

Abstract: The present technology relates to an electrode slurry-discharging shim, and a coating die comprising same, the present technology allowing superbly even coating to be assured even when the electrode slurry coating is at a high load level. In one example, the present technology provides a coating shim for electrode slurry discharge according to the present invention having a step portion configured to be formed at an end of an electrode slurry discharge flow path and to increase a width of the discharge flow path, and the step portion is formed at opposite sides in a width direction of the electrode slurry discharge flow path.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides biochips and methods for making biochips. A biochip can comprise a nanopore in a membrane (e.g., lipid bilayer) adjacent or in proximity to an electrode. Methods are described for forming the membrane and inserting the nanopore into the membrane. The biochips and methods can be used for nucleic acid (e.g., DNA) sequencing. The present disclosure also describes methods for detecting, sorting, and binning molecules (e.g., proteins) using biochips.

The mounting plate includes a plurality of refrigerant channels, each refrigerant channel extending from the one side to the other side and being in communication with the feed pipe or the discharge pipe. The battery pack desirably reduces manufacturing cost and improves safety by reducing the number of components and simplifying the assembly process.
