  • Patent number: 11477616
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that enable a safety detection controller to analyze and infer a likelihood of a safety concern impacting a monitored individual at a real-time event. More specifically, a safety detection controller may receive sensor data from a monitored device associated with a particular individual. The sensor data may be captured from the environment that is proximate to the monitored device. The safety detection controller is further configured to analyze the sensor data to infer the identities of third-party individuals proximate to the monitored device and determine whether those individuals pose a safety concern to the monitored individual.

  • Patent number: 11474265
Abstract: For positron emission tomography (PET) detector gain stabilization despite temperature variation, an open loop gain control based on temperature establishes a baseline gain despite possible temperature variation. The baseline gain is then adjusted with a more sensitive closed-loop (e.g., peak tracking) approach for dealing with temperature. By combining both types of gain control to deal with temperature, the advantages of both are provided while avoiding disadvantages of either approach by itself.

Abstract: Various example embodiments for controlling reordering of packets in packet switched networks are presented herein. Various example embodiments for controlling reordering of packets in packet switched networks may be configured to control reordering of packets in packet switched networks based on control of reorderability of packets in packet switched networks. Various example embodiments for controlling reordering of packets in packet switched networks may be configured to control reorderability of packets in packet switched networks, and, thus, reordering of packets in packet switched networks, based on use of a reorderability indicator (RI). The RI for a packet is included in the packet to indicate reorderability of the packet, where the reorderability of the packet is indicative as to whether or not reordering of the packet is permitted. The RI may be included in a packet for controlling reorderability and, thus, reordering, of the packet as the packet traverses a network.

  • Patent number: 11474454
Abstract: A developing device includes a case, a stirring screw, a discharge port, a restriction portion, and a control portion. The case stores developer. The stirring screw circulates the developer inside the case while stirring the developer. The discharge port is an opening for discharging the developer from the case. The restriction portion is disposed between the stirring screw and the discharge port and restricts the movement of the developer toward the discharge port depending on the drive speed of the stirring screw. The control portion drives the stirring screw such that, during a discharge period other than a development process period in which a development process using the developer is performed, the mean drive speed of the stirring screw per unit time is less than the mean drive speed during the development process period to move the developer toward the discharge port through the restriction portion.
