  • Patent number: 7505799
Abstract: A mobile phone terminal is provided in which first and second housings can be set to open and close states via a hinge portion. In the case that the terminal is at least in the close state and an electronic wallet function is locked, when side keys, namely, an “F” key, and a camera key, are depressed in an authentication registration sequence, then an electronic wallet lock can be temporarily released. On the other hand, in the case that the terminal is in the open state, when a personal ID number is input by using, for example, ten keys provided on the first housing, then the electronic wallet lock can be released. Thereby, in the mobile electronic apparatus enabling the apparatus shape to be changed, a security function is maintained, and concurrently, the lock of the electronic wallet function can be easily and speedily released.

  • Patent number: 7467270
Abstract: When there is access to a non-contact type IC, the access is controlled, and external access is notified. A control unit of a non-contact type IC detects access from an external apparatus in response to variation in a load of an antenna, and notifies the detection as access information to a signal judging unit. The signal judging unit refers to history information recorded in a storing unit on the basis of the notified access information, determines whether or not to permit the external apparatus the access, and then notifies a result of the determination to a CPU. On the basis of the notified result of the determination, the CPU controls a display unit, a speaker, a light generating unit, or a vibration generating unit to generate a predetermined stimulus in order to notify the external access. The present invention is applicable to transmission apparatus including a non-contact type IC.

  • Patent number: 7460878
Abstract: In the mobile terminal, the reception quality estimating unit measures a reception quality, and at least one of the data buffer monitoring unit and the transmission power monitoring unit measures a data transmission capability. Based on the measured reception quality and data transmission capability, the terminal determines a transmission mode to be used, and reports it to the base station. The base station determines the transmission mode to be practically used in accordance with the reported transmission mode, and notifies it to the mobile terminal. The base station transmits data according to the determined transmission mode, and the mobile terminal receives data according to the notified transmission mode. Thereby, the radio communication system determines the transmission mode in consideration for not only the reception quality, but also the deficiency in the data transmission capability of the terminal.
