Abstract: A connector assembly includes: a plug (10) including a body (11), an insert (12) and contacts (13) housed longitudinally in the insert, and a front face closed off by a first closure valve (15) positioned radially on the plug, a socket (20) including a body (21), a spacer (27), an insert (22) and contacts (23) housed longitudinally in the insert, and a front face closed off by a second closure valve (25) positioned radially on the socket, the body (11) of the plug being capable of getting inserted into the body (21) of the socket during a coupling, providing for a connection of the contacts (13) of the plug with the contacts of the socket, the first and second closure valves being capable of pivoting simultaneously and getting housed inside the plug and the socket during the coupling of the plug and the socket.

Abstract: A secure locking system includes: a case (10) having at least one transverse orifice (33) that opens to the surface of the case; a locking ring (20) having a notched wall (22), which can be locked at one end of the case; a spring (31) housed in the orifice of the case; a ball (32) installed at least partially in the orifice of the case, above the spring. The spring is made of a shape-memory material, which assumes: an elastic state when an environmental temperature is less than or equal to a critical temperature of the shape-memory material, this elastic state enabling movement of the ball in the orifice; or a hardened state when an environmental temperature is higher than the critical temperature of the shape-memory material, this hardened state preventing any movement of the ball in the orifice. A connector and connector assembly including the locking system are described.

The header is equipped with a plurality of pins forming male contacts. The insert ensures the hermeticity of the male pins in the header. The female adapter module is mounted in the header so as to form a female connector. The female adapter module comprises a plurality of sockets forming female contacts. Each female socket is mounted around a male pin, and a locking housing is mounted around the plurality of sockets so as to tighten each female socket around the associated male pin.

Abstract: A method for the insertion of ferrite members onto pins acting as the contacts of an electrical filter connector. The ferrite members are oriented to a desired orientation by a known method. The ferrite members are preferably oriented in the vertical position for storage and are conveyed to a dynamic storage lock chamber equipped with a ferrite member stopping mechanism. A ferrite member distribution system incorporating a horizontally moving distribution plate individually releases the ferrite members from the lock chamber into the distribution system and inserts ferrite members onto the contacts according to a rate controlled by the operator.
