Abstract: A screw-type connector (1) has reinforced locking including a first connection element (2), and a locking ring (10) which is mounted so as to rotate freely about the first connection element which includes at least one ball (3) facing radial teeth (14) on the locking ring, the locking ring being intended to be screwed to a second connection element when the second connection element is connected to the first connection element. The connector includes a resilient element (21) which is mounted between the first connection element and the locking ring and which is capable of being compressed in order to allow a translation of the locking ring in the direction of the second connection element and to allow additional screwing of the locking ring to the second connection element.

Abstract: A quick lock connector assembly includes of a first electrical connector or receptacle connector, of a complementary electrical connector or plug, of a system for locking and unlocking connectors forming the connection assembly in order to allow its coupling and uncoupling, in which the receptacle connector and the plug each have at their respective ends a system of integrated sleeves and spring housings actuated by a push force. The disclosed embodiments have a particular application in severe environments.

An asynchronous motor provided with a connection device such as this and a method for coupling an asynchronous motor are also described.

Abstract: The invention relates a connection unit comprising an insert provided a front part and a back part provided with longitudinal through holes. At least one longitudinal through hole in the front part of the insert coincides with a longitudinal through hole in the back part. The connection unit includes at least one contact extending through a longitudinal through hole in the front part and through a longitudinal through hole in the back part of the insert. A front portion of the contact is provided with a stop pressing on a stop in the longitudinal hole in the front part of the insert. A back portion of said contact is provided with retaining means which require said back portion be forced into the longitudinal hole in the back part of the insert. The invention also relates a mounting process of such a connection unit, as well as a connection kit.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of a bayonet connecting element (1) for an electrical or optical connector, according to which a body (2), with a general hollow cylindrical shape, is produced, characterized in that it comprises the following additional stages: a) A through bore (12) is made by piercing a wall (5) of the body of the connecting element from the outer surface (10) of said wall; b) The outer surface of the wall around the bore is machined in such a way as to hollow out a flat surface (11) around said bore; c) A lug (4) is inserted into the bore, from the outer surface of the wall, in such a way that a head (8) of the lug is projecting from the outer surface of the wall of the connecting element. The invention also relates to such a connecting element.

Abstract: A protective plug assembly for use with a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connector. The plug assembly is installed over a terminated USB connector and provides additional shielding for the USB connector, thereby allowing the USB connector to be used in military, aerospace, industrial or other applications in which signal degradation is a concern. The plug assembly is easily installed in the field, as the plug adapter assembly may be preassembled during manufacture. The plug assembly also provides sealing for the USB connector which allows the USB connector to be used in environmental conditions which are not conducive to the longevity of an unprotected connector.

Abstract: A versatile modular connector and a conduit system which is easily used and installed by electricians and non-electricians in the field are described. The components, such as the junction box, outlet boxes and bridge cables can be prewired and easily added to the system by using the quick connect connectors to allow for a stable and sealed system.
