  • Patent number: 11586521
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system for providing process-level forensics for a plurality of application containers includes for each of the plurality of application containers; monitoring forensics information of the application container, encoding the monitored forensics information using an encoder of a predetermined encoder/decoder pair to determine a forensics model, decoding the forensics model to determine a reconstructed representation of the forensics information, comparing the reconstructed representation of the forensics information to the monitored forensics information to determine an error and comparing the error to a threshold to determine if an error above the threshold exists. If the error is below the threshold, the forensics model is communicated to a higher-level manager to be used for higher-level management. If the error is above the threshold, the monitored forensics information of the application container is also communicated to the higher-level manager.

  • Patent number: 11568246
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for training a machine learning model to perform actions within an environment. In one example, an input device receives a declarative statement. A computation engine selects, based on the declarative statement, a template that includes a template action performable within the environment. The computation engine generates, based on the template, synthetic training episodes. The computation engine further generates experiential training episodes, each experiential training episode collected by a machine learning model from past actions performed by the machine learning model. Each synthetic training episode and experiential training episode comprises an action and a reward. A machine learning system trains, with the synthetic training episodes and the experiential training episodes, the machine learning model to perform the actions within the environment.

  • Patent number: 11566690
Abstract: A variety of transmission mechanisms are provided that include split pulleys nested within each other in order to reduce the size of the transmissions, to provide infinitely variable transmission ratios that include forward and reverse ratios, or to provide some other benefits. The transmissions include multiple inner split pulleys nested within an outer split pulley. Two, three, or more inner split pulleys can be disposed within the transmission to balance the mass of the inner split pulleys in order to reduce vibration and internal stresses experienced by the transmission. This can increase the lifespan of the transmission, reduce wear, and increase efficiency. Additionally, providing multiple inner split pulleys in a nested configuration can allow for reduction of loads transmitted through bearings of the transmission.

  • Patent number: 11557227
Abstract: A machine and its modules assist in steganography for an animal. A steganography module applies behavioral sequencing to create a cover message and a hidden message to covertly pass information from one animal to another animal, with the information embedded in an individual's brain. A visual module references the steganography module to cause a sequence of visual images on a display screen to guide a motor sequence of an individual as the cover message as well as detect and communicate a timing of the individual's motor sequence, relative in timing, to visual images in the sequence of visual images being displayed on the display screen, in order to train in the cover message and hidden message. The hidden message is then extracted at a destination from a sensor monitoring the individual's sequence of motor actions.

  • Patent number: 11534118
Abstract: Embodiments provide a stationary X-ray source for a multisource X-ray imaging system for tomographic imaging. The stationary X-ray source includes an array of thermionic cathodes and, in most embodiments a rotating anode. The anode rotates about a rotation axis, however the anode is stationary in the horizontal or vertical dimensions (e.g. about axes perpendicular to the rotation axis). The elimination of mechanical motion improves the image quality by elimination of mechanical vibration and source motion; simplifies system design that reduces system size and cost; increases angular coverage with no increase in scan time; and results in short scan times to, in medical some medical imaging applications, reduce patient-motion-induced blurring.

  • Patent number: 11494626
Abstract: In general, the disclosure describes techniques for creating runtime-throttleable neural networks (TNNs) that can adaptively balance performance and resource use in response to a control signal. For example, runtime-TNNs may be trained to be throttled via a gating scheme in which a set of disjoint components of the neural network can be individually “turned off” at runtime without significantly affecting the accuracy of NN inferences. A separate gating neural network may be trained to determine which trained components of the NN to turn off to obtain operable performance for a given level of resource use of computational, power, or other resources by the neural network. This level can then be specified by the control signal at runtime to adapt the NN to operate at the specified level and in this way balance performance and resource use for different operating conditions.
