Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for security management in an industrial control system (ICS). An event entity detection and linking module generates a model for a plurality of event entities extracted from a plurality of different data sources including one ICS data source and one IT data source. The model encodes a set of linked event entities and their relationships, each event entity associated with a vector of attribute value pairs. A data standardization of domain knowledge includes translating, by a machine learning application, extracted knowledge base information to rules for the constraints and using the rules to validate the constraints and to add new constraints. A fusion module performs temporal correlation detection across data streams of the different data sources for establishing causality between triplets of association models within a defined time span.

Abstract: System and method for sensing movement such as chest movement of each of a plurality of target test subjects by: transmitting, at each of N transmitting antennas (TXs) of a phased multiple-input multiple-output (phased-MIMO) radar, a common frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) signal in each of a plurality of time division multiplex (TDM) slots, each TDM slot having associated with it a respective weight selected in accordance with a transmit steering vector configured to cause a coherent summation of transmitted signal in a desired direction ?0 toward at least one target; receiving target-reflected energy associated with the transmitted FMCW signals at a virtual array formed by stacking signal from P TDM slots received via M receiving antennas (RXs) of the phased-MIMO radar; and processing an output of the virtual array to extract therefrom signal received from the desired direction ?0 to determine thereby target movement in the desired direction ?0.

Abstract: A concentric tube steerable device includes a plurality of tubes having a nested, concentric configuration. The tubes include an outer tube and an inner tube that extends coaxially within the outer tube. The inner tube terminates at a tip, and a pose of the tip is effectuated through individual or collective rotation or translation of the tubes about a tube axis. The concentric tube steerable device includes an actuator for rotating at least one tube about a respective tube axis, and a translator for translating at least one tube along a respective tube axis. Each tube includes a precurved portion and a corresponding axis of precurvature. For at least one tube, a flexural rigidity of the tube along its axis of precurvature is less than a flexural rigidity of the tube along a second axis that is perpendicular to the axis of precurvature, thereby improving stability of the tube.

Abstract: A yeast-containing dough that is used to form a leavened dough product having a desired degree of leavening is initially formed as two separate dough subcomponents that, when combined, leavens through a fermentation reaction process to form a dough having the desired degree of leavening. The first dough subcomponent includes a leavening activator, flour, salt and water, while the second dough component includes a biological leavening agent, flour, and water. When combined, the leavening agent reacts in the presence of the biological leavening activator through a fermentation process to form the dough having a desired degree of leavening, which can then be heated to a temperature exceeding a viability temperature of the leavening activator to terminate the fermentation process and form the leavened dough product. The dough can also be combined with at least one non-dough component to form the leavened dough product.
