Abstract: A propylene resin composition containing (A), (B), (C), and (D) is provided. The content of (A) is 40 to 65 parts by weight, the content of (B) is 10 to 25 parts by weight, the content of (C) is 25 to 35 parts by weight, and the content of (D) is 0.01 to 0.3 parts by weight based on the total weight of (A), (B), and (C) being 100 parts by weight. (A) is a propylene-based polymer, (B) is an ethylene-?-olefin copolymer, (C) is a talc whose ratio of D50[L] to D50[S] is at least 4, and (D) is a nucleating agent having formula (1): R1 and R2 each independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a halogen group, and m and n each independently represent an integer of 1 to 5. A molded article produced from the composition has low linear expansion coefficients.

Abstract: A thermoplastic aromatic polysulfone is obtained by polymerizing a dihalogeno compound (A) and a dihydric phenol (B). The ratio (Mw/Mn) between a number average molecular weight (Mn) and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) is at least 1.91, and the number average molecular weight (Mn) is at least 6,000 and less than 14,000, In (A) and (B), each of X and X? independently represents a halogen atom; each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; each of n1, n2, n3 and n4 independently represents an integer of 0 to 4; and when n1, n2, n3 or n4 is an integer of 2 to 4, a plurality of R1, R2, R3 or R4 groups may be the same or different from each other.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a refined methionine production method capable of achieving an improvement in washing efficiency. This production method is a method for producing refined methionine from a slurry of crude methionine and comprises (1) a step of separating the slurry of crude methionine into solid and liquid by using a continuous filter, (2) a step of spraying preliminary washing water on a crude cake obtained by separating the slurry of crude methionine into solid and liquid to wash the crude cake, and (3) a step of mixing a semi-refined cake obtained by spraying preliminary washing water on the crude cake to wash the crude cake with finishing washing water to wash the semi-refined cake.
