    Abstract: A discharge cell for use in an ozone generator is provided which can suppress a time-related reduction in ozone concentration without adding a catalytic gas such as nitrogen gas to oxygen gas as a raw material gas. The discharge cell includes a pair of electrodes disposed in an opposed spaced relation with a discharge space therebetween, and a dielectric layer of a three-layer structure consisting of three ceramic dielectric layers successively stacked on at least one of the electrodes, wherein a first dielectric layer of the dielectric layer contacting the one electrode contains no titanium dioxide, wherein a second dielectric layer of the dielectric layer exposed to the discharge space contains titanium dioxide in a metal element ratio of not lower than 10 wt %.

With this structure, a complete retraction of wheels can be achieved. Hence the supporting component can be used both as the supporting leg apparatus to vertically support the magnetically levitated vehicle and the guide leg apparatus to mechanically guide the vehicle along the guideway side wall.     Abstract: A plate-type ozonizer capable of suppressing the deformation of plate discharging cells and securing a high ozone-generating efficiency where a high-concentration and high-pressure ozone gas is to be generated. An ozonizer body 10, in which a plurality of discharging; cells 11 are stacked one above the other, is housed in a pressure vessel 20. The pressure vessel 20 is supplied with a pressurized gas having a pressure equal to or almost equal to that of the raw material gases which are supplied to said discharging cells 11. Thus there is little or no differential pressure between the inside and the outside of the discharging cells 11 and therefore the discharging cells 11 are not subject to being deformed by unequal inner and outer pressure forces. A dried gas is used as the pressurized gas to prevent also a poor insulation due to a dewing.

    Abstract: An automatic brake control apparatus includes a pressure intensifying solenoid valve in a hydraulic brake line connecting a source of hydraulic pressure with a brake, as well as a pressure reducing solenoid valve in a relief line branched from the brake line and connected to a low pressure reservoir. A pressure sensor is positioned to sense a hydraulic pressure in the brake line at a position downstream of a point where the relief line branches from the brake line. A controller receives a signal from the pressure sensor and determines desired brake pressure for producing a desired speed reduction rate. The controller outputs control signals to the pressure intensifying solenoid valve and the pressure reducing solenoid valve such that the detected brake pressure corresponds to the desired brake pressure. The apparatus may be incorporated into a brake pressure control valve having first and second stages.

    Abstract: A system and method for generating high concentration ozone by introducing a high purity oxygen (99.995% or greater purity) into a silent discharge type ozone generator. Another high purity gas (99.99% or greater), is mixed with the oxygen before the gas is introduced into the ozone generator. By this process, high concentration ozone is generated such that the ozone concentration does not decrease with time. The highest ozone concentrations are maintained when the non-oxygen gas makes up between 1% and 10% of the volume content of the gas mixture introduced in the ozone generator.

This steel is produced by a method comprising the steps of: preparing a stainless steel having the composition of any one of the claims 1 to 4; subjecting the stainless steel to a solution heat treatment at a temperature of 950 to 1150.degree. C.; quenching the steel; subjecting the steel to a sub zero treatment at a temperature of -50.degree. to -100.degree. C.; and subjecting the steel to a tempering at a temperature of 120.degree. to 450.degree. C.

The aluminum alloy fin stock materials contain optionally at least one component selected from the group consisting of 0.05 to 0.25% of Zr, 0.01 to 0.25% of Ti, 0.05 to 0.25% of Cr and 0.01 to 0.25% of V. The fin stock materials have a combination of advantageous properties, particularly a high prevention effect of excessive silicon diffusion of brazing materials into the fins, good strength and formability, whereby give good utility particularly in plate fin heat exchangers for use in superhigh pressure applications.
