Abstract: Disclosed is an arrangement and a method for manufacturing of a web of packaging material for an oral pouched snuff product. The web is a saliva-permeable nonwoven web includes fibres, whereof 0%-95% of said fibres are of a first type and 5%-100% of a second type, the fibres of the first type being cellulose-based staple fibres, and the fibres of the second type being thermoplastic fibres, which are meltable and/or softenable at least at the surface. The arrangement includes a carding unit for carding the fibres to form a pre-web, an air-through bonding unit for bonding the pre-web by means of at least partial melting and/or softening of the fibres of the second type to form the web, and a calendering unit for surface treatment of the web.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates an oral pouched nicotine product comprising a filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch of a packaging material enclosing the filling material, said filling material comprising: —particles having a sphericity from 0.7 to 1.0, such as from 0.8 to 1.0, and a diameter from 0.2 mm to 2.0 mm, said particles comprising: (i) a core having an outer surface, said core comprising a material selected from the group consisting of cellulose, starch, polyalcohol, sugar and any combinations thereof, (ii) a first coating comprising a saliva-soluble binder and a nicotine source, said first coating being applied on at least part of the outer surface of said core, wherein said particles are provided in an amount within the range of from 50 wt % to 100 wt %, such as from 50 wt % to 90 wt %, based on the total weight of said filling material, and—optionally a tobacco material within the range of from 0.05 wt % to 10 wt %, based on the total weight of the filling material.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging material for use in an oral pouched snuff product in order to enclose a smokeless tobacco composition or non-tobacco composi¬tion. The packaging material is a saliva-permeable nonwoven comprising carded fibres, whereof 0%-95% of the carded fibres are of a first type and 5%-100% are of a second type. The fibres of the first type are cellulose-based staple fibres. The fibres of the second type are thermoplastic fibres, comprising a first component and a second component, the second component having a lower melting temperature than the first component. The packaging material is bonded by means of at least partial melting and/or softening of the second component of the fibres of the second type and has a smooth-calendered surface. The present invention also relates to an oral pouched snuff product comprising such a packaging material.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an oral pouched nicotine product comprising a moist filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch of a packaging material enclosing the moist filling material, wherein the moist filling material comprises a particulate non-tobacco material; a non-encapsulated non-particulate flavouring agent; a nicotine source; a pH adjusting agent; a monoglyceride; and tobacco material within the range of from 0% to % by weight, based on the total weight of the moist filling material.

Abstract: Described is a pouched product for oral use with a filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch. The pouch is made of a saliva-permeable packaging material that includes fibres and enclosing the filling material. The pouch has a first seal joining at least two plies of the packaging material. The at least two plies are interconnected in the first seal by inter-ply fibres, the inter-ply fibres being fibres which are present in at least two plies of the at least two plies.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an oral pouched nicotine product comprising a moist filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch of a packaging material enclosing the moist filling material, wherein the moist filling material comprises a particulate non-tobacco material, such as microcrystalline cellulose, a flavouring agent, a nicotine source, a pH adjusting agent, and within the range of from about 0.5 to about 20% by weight, based on total weight of the filling material, of triglyceride. The moist filling material may further comprise a tobacco material within the range of from about 0 wt % to about 10 wt % based on the total weight of the moist filling material.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an oral pouched snuff product comprising a filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch enclosing the filling material, the oral pouched snuff product having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction perpendicular to said longitudinal direction, the saliva-permeable pouch comprising a first elongated seal and a second elongated seal, each of said first and second elongated seals having a seal length extending along the transverse direction of the product and a seal width extending along the longitudinal direction of the product, wherein the seal width of said at least one elongated seal being equal to or less than 2 mm, such as within the range of from 0.1 mm to 2 mm or from 0.1 mm to 1 mm or from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm. There is also provided a container having a base and a detachable lid together providing an interior container space in which a plurality of these oral pouched snuff products is contained.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for portion-packing of an oral pouched snuff product (1?, 1?). The method comprises a) supplying and advancing a tubular web (19, 19?, 19?) of packaging material enveloping a continuous feed (23, 23?, 23a?, 23b?) of filling material in a direction of travel (L), b) forming transverse seals (39) in the tubular web across the continuous feed of filling material by means of ultrasonic welding, the transverse seals extending in a transverse direction (T) being perpendicular to the direction of travel. The present invention further relates to an arrangement (17, 17?, 17?) for portion-packing of an oral pouched snuff product.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for positioning portion packets of a product for oral use into a container by means of a compartment unit. The compartment unit comprises a plurality of compartments with a respective discharge opening.
