Patents Assigned to SWF Auto-Electric GmbH
  • Patent number: 4694211
Abstract: An system for the supply of fuel which acts as an electrolyte, including a metallic component part as a sacrificial anode for protection of metallic current leads against electrolytic corrosion. The component part is connected to the positive side of the operating circuit of the electric motor. In order to improve the protection of the current leads, the sacrificial anode is connected to a higher electric potential than the current lead for the positive side of the circuit.

  • Patent number: 4673333
Abstract: A fuel injection pump volatiling fuel which has an inlet opening to a pump chamber, an impeller in the pump chamber and a side channel, at whose end an outlet opening is provided. The outlet opening is separated from the beginning of the side channel by a sealing surface having a vent hole. To improve the supply properties of fuel with higher temperature the outlet opening has two areas extending across finite angles which are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. The areas have radially differing widths and extend farther into the sealing surface with the narrower area externally than internally. The supply quantity of fuel with a higher temperature is accordingly increased.

  • Patent number: 4652781
Abstract: A drive unit for adjusting window panes, sunroofs, and seats in a vehicle has a reversible electric motor behind which is inserted a worm gear with a worm shaft. To prevent an undesired or unauthorized adjustment of a motor vehicle part, a brake device is provided. The brake device has a mechanical, one-way brake element with which the worm shaft may be coupled by an axial displacement. In order to reduce the effect of the brake device on the worm shaft when the window pane is adjusted by the electric motor, the brake element is the rotatable part of a rotation limiting device and, in the axial direction, it is supported on a stop.

  • Patent number: 4648728
Abstract: A steering column switch for motor vehicles includes a support sleeve, which may be mounted on the end of a steering tube. The sleeve, between an internal collar integrally formed on it and a retaining ring is mounted a ball bearing for a steering spindle and which is made of plastics material. The retaining ring is separated from the support sleeve and held on it via the internal collar.

  • Patent number: 4648148
Abstract: The piston of a reciprocating wiper system on which a wiper arm is mounted is guided to be linearly displaceable in a capshaped bearing and has a slide which is longitudinally guided by two guide elements fixed to the housing. To achieve jam-free guidance on the guide elements without adjustment, the slide is guided with a capshaped bearing on one guide element in a closed manner. In contrast thereto there is a play between the slide and the second guide element in the plane defined by the guide elements.

  • Patent number: 4641389
Abstract: A gearing of a reciprocating wiper system has two toothed wheels meshing with each other of which one is firmly connected with a crank. The mesh of a given tooth of one toothed wheel in a given space width of the other toothed wheel corresponds to a particular position of the crank. To facilitate assembly and to reduce the risk of assembly errors, in a particular position of the crank one toothed wheel has only one tooth which may be axially pushed into one space width of the other toothed wheel such that the meshing of the tooth in the space width corresponds to the particular position of the crank.

  • Patent number: 4639065
Abstract: This invention describes an electric motor on whose gear housing cap are secured plug contacts for a mating plug. Pin terminals which project perpendicularly from the gear housing cap are used as plug contacts. Various pin terminals are fixed on the cap, while other pin terminals are carried by a separate structural member which may be locked on the cap.

  • Patent number: 4594746
Abstract: A windshield wiper unit has a slide which is supported so as to be movable in a longitudinal direction in a housing which is driven to and fro, and a wiper arm which is fastened with a fastening part to an end section of the slide. A low overall height is achieved by the fastening part having a recess with which it is placed on the end section of the slide in the longitudinal direction of the slide and by the end section being jammed in the recess.

  • Patent number: 4559663
Abstract: A low overall height is provided in a wiper-arm assembly with a wiper arm which has a fastening part, a link part which is swivelably linked to the fastening part and two side walls and a back connecting the two side walls, and a contact pressure spring which is accommodated in the link part and acts on the link part and the fastening part, and also with a wiper blade linked to the wiper arm, which blade lies at least partly in line with the link part. The low height is achieved by making the clearance between the contact pressure spring and the one side wall of the link part greater than the width of the wiper blade in the area of the link part and by the wiper blade being swivelable into the link part alongside the contact pressure spring.
