Patent number: 11936492Abstract: In one embodiment, an architecture for redundant control of wireless devices (e.g., wireless light fixtures, wireless light strips, wireless window shades, or other wireless devices) of a home automation system is provided that uses a combination of WLAN and WPAN communication. During normal operation of the home automation system, control commands generated in response to user input in a control application (app) on a control device (e.g., a remote control, mobile device, or other electronic device) are transmitted via a WLAN (e.g., Wi-Fi) to a bridge device (e.g., a lamp module or wireless keypad) proximate to the wireless device, which forwards the commands over a WPAN (e.g., BLE) to the wireless device. In the absence of an available WLAN connection (e.g., due to failure, prior to its configuration, etc.), the control device may send control commands via the WPAN (e.g., BLE) directly to the wireless device.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Savant Systems, Inc.Inventors: Robert P. Patent number: 11931275Abstract: A convertible nephroureteral catheter is used in the treatment of urinary system complications, particularly on the need for a single surgically delivered device to treat patients who must be seen by an interventional radiologist (IR). In many current procedures, patients need to return to the operating room to remove a previously delivered nephroureteral catheter to exchange this catheter with a fully implanted ureteral stent delivered though the same access site at the flank. The present convertible nephroureteral catheter reduces the need to return for a second surgical procedure. Two weeks after initial implantation, the proximal portion of the convertible nephroureteral catheter extending out from the body may simply be removed. A simple action at the catheter hub allows this proximal portion to be removed, leaving behind the implanted ureteral stent within the patient's urinary system. Other medical procedures, devices, and technologies may benefit from the described convertible catheter.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Merit Medical Systems, Inc.Inventors: Harry R. Smouse, Kent C. B. Stalker, Timothy H. Williams, Eugene R. Serina

Patent number: 11934356Abstract: A client machine writes to and reads from a virtual disk on a remote storage platform. Metadata is generated and stored in replicas on different metadata nodes of the storage platform. A modified log-structured merge tree is used to store and compact string-sorted tables of metadata. During file storage and compaction, a consistent file identification scheme is used across all metadata nodes. A fingerprint file is calculated for each SST (metadata) file on disk that includes hash values corresponding to regions of the SST file. To synchronize, the fingerprint files of two SST files are compared, and if any hash values are missing from a fingerprint file, then the key-value-timestamp triples corresponding to these missing hash values are sent to the SST file that is missing them. The SST file is compacted with the missing triples to create a new version of the SST file. The synchronization is bi-directional.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Commvault Systems, Inc.Inventors: Avinash Lakshman, Lasaro Camargos, Deepak Jain

Patent number: 11931910Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed towards artificial intelligence-based modeling of target objects, such as aircraft parts. In an example, a system initially trains a machine learning (ML) model based on synthetic images generated based on multi-dimensional representation of target objects. The same system or a different system subsequently further trains the ML model based on actual images generated by cameras positioned by robots relative to target objects. The ML model can be used to process an image generated by a camera positioned by a robot relative to a target object based on a multi-dimensional representation of the target object. The output of the ML model can indicate, for a detected target, position data, a target type, and/or a visual inspection property. This output can then be used to update the multi-dimensional representation, which is then used to perform robotics operations on the target object.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2023Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Wilder Systems Inc.Inventors: Ademola Ayodeji Oridate, William Wilder, Spencer Voiss

Patent number: 11936353Abstract: A current-mode transmitter amplifies a differential input signal to a differential, current-mode output signal. A split-input, current-mode-logic stage produces small, analog signals to limit switching currents and thus power consumption and power-supply noise. These small, analog signals are driven through a source-follower stage to reduce loading and shift the common-mode voltage to a desired level. A switched-current-source H-bridge driver combines differential outputs from the source-follower stage to provide an amplified differential output current. The output swing from the H-bridge driver is controlled by the voltage level from the source follower and derived from a replica-bias structure.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2019Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Cadence Design Systems, Inc.Inventors: Eric Douglas Groen, Charles Walter Boecker
