  • Patent number: 11902178
Abstract: Effectively allocating computing resources to end-users is provided. A system can identify mapping groups comprising a first mapping group that maps first users to corresponding first machines having a first hardware configuration, and a second mapping group that maps second users to corresponding second machines having a second hardware configuration. The system can determine a first metric indicating computing resource utilization of a first machine of the first machines when executing one or more sessions of a first user in the first mapping group, and a second metric indicating computing capacity of the second machines. The system can re-map the first user from the first mapping group to the second mapping group to cause sessions of the first user to execute on a second machine of the second machines.

  • Patent number: 11896264
Abstract: Disclosed herein are push activated intraosseous (IO) access devices, and methods thereof. Embodiments include replaceable and rechargeable or non-rechargeable battery packs, or spring driven devices. Intraosseous access devices often require training to ensure correct placement of the access device. Users must coordinate the opposing actions of pulling proximally on a trigger, while applying sufficient distal drive force to penetrate the bone. Devices disclosed herein include an intuitive operation with a unidirectional activation and drive force application. Further the trigger is both activated and deactivated automatically to prevent premature activation and prevent “backwalling”. The device includes various indicators to further guide a user in placing the device correctly, with little or no training. Devices further include replaceable battery packs to ensure a full charge is available when the device is used, and to provide a multi-use device that requires less storage.

  • Patent number: 11899575
Abstract: This disclosure provides for host-controller cooperation in managing NAND flash memory. The controller maintains information for each erase unit which tracks memory usage. This information assists the host in making decisions about specific operations, for example, initiating garbage collection, space reclamation, wear leveling or other operations. For example, metadata can be provided to the host identifying whether each page of an erase unit has been released, and the host can specifically then command each of consolidation and erase using direct addressing. By redefining host-controller responsibilities in this manner, much of the overhead association with FTL functions can be substantially removed from the memory controller, with the host directly specifying physical addresses. This reduces performance unpredictability and overhead, thereby facilitating integration of solid state drives (SSDs) with other forms of storage.

  • Patent number: 11898994
Abstract: A computer-implemented process determines, based on bearing fault frequencies, optimum values for the maximum frequency (Fmax) and the number of lines of resolution (Nlines) to be used in collecting machine vibration data so as to adequately distinguish between spectral peaks for identifying faults in machine bearings. The process can be extended to any other types of fault frequencies that a machine may exhibit, such as motor fault frequencies, pump/fan fault frequencies, and gear mesh fault frequencies. Embodiments of the process also ensure that the time needed to acquire the waveform is optimized. This is particularly useful when collecting data using portable vibration monitoring devices.
