Abstract: A method for installing a liquid quality system into a containment structure, wherein the liquid quality system includes a liquid quality device and at least one drag-inducing assembly, wherein the at least one drag-inducing assembly includes at least one supporting portion and at least one drag-inducing portion, wherein when the liquid quality device is installed a sump region is formed below, is provided. The method may include mounting, at least partially in the sump region, the at least one supporting portion onto a sidewall of the containment structure. The method may also include attaching the at least one drag-inducing portion to the at least one supporting portion. The method may also include mounting the liquid quality device in the containment structure.

Abstract: Techniques for providing data preview before recalling large data files are disclosed. In one aspect, a data file is made accessible while being offline by converting the data file from a native format to a preview format, storing the data file in the preview format in a primary storage that is locally available and moving, after the conversion to the preview format, the data file in the native format to a secondary storage. When a viewing request is received for the data file, the data file in the preview format is displayed to fulfill the viewing request.

Abstract: An illustrative “Live Synchronization” feature creates and maintains a ready standby “synchronized application” that is available to take over as a failover solution for a “primary” application that operates in a production environment, but will do so on a different computing platform (e.g., physical server, virtual machine, container, etc.), and possibly on a differed kind of computing platform than, the primary. The illustrative system has specialized features and components for discovering and singling out each primary application and identifying and locating its disk image, e.g., VMDK file. The application is Live Synched to the standby/failover application without reference to whether and how other co-resident applications might be treated. The standby/failover destination supporting the synchronized application may be located anywhere, whether in the same data center as the primary or geographically remote or in a private or public cloud setting.

Abstract: An electronics device includes a folded printed circuit board which is folded about at least one fold region which defines a first section and a second section. A housing has a plurality of side portions. The first section of the folded printed circuit board is secured along an outer surface of a first side portion of the plurality of side portions. The housing further includes an interior. At least one first slot is defined within the interior and disposed along or near a second side portion arranged opposite the first side portion. At least one first pin member is disposed partly within the at least one first slot and extends therefrom. A distal end portion of the at least one first pin member engages with the second section of the folded printed circuit board so as to hold the second section in position over the interior of the housing.

Abstract: A method for making an air spring assembly, including the steps of providing a bellow, a support ring, and a guide tube. The support ring is positioned relative to a bellow adapter such that a portion of the bellow adapter extends through the support ring. The bellow is then positioned such that a portion of the bellow extends over the support ring and a portion of the bellow adapter. The guide tube is then positioned relative to the bellow and the support ring, such that a portion of the bellow extends into the guide tube and the guide tube is supported by the bellow adapter, and a portion of the guide tube is supported by a ridge support fixture. The first clamp and second clamp are then moved towards the guide tube, applying force to the guide tube, simultaneously forming a first crimp and a second crimp.

Abstract: A system and a method for providing a secondary source of breathing gas to a mask are disclosed. The system includes secondary reservoir having a breathing gas, the secondary reservoir connected to a primary line by a secondary line. A pressure switch detects a pressure in the primary line and, upon a pressure lower than a threshold, actuates an actuator to permit the flow of breathing gas from the secondary reservoir through the secondary line. A valve may be configured to prevent a flow of gas from the secondary line to a source side of the primary line. The method includes detecting gas pressure and actuating an actuator upon a low gas pressure to permit a flow of secondary gas to the breathing mask by way of a secondary line. The gas may be prevented from flowing from the secondary line to a source side of the primary line.

Abstract: A method of identifying a target vehicle in a system includes providing a sensor within a system. Motion data of a plurality of vehicles within the system is detected with the sensor. Broadcast motion data is received from a vehicle unit within the system. Which of the plurality of vehicles is a target vehicle is determined based on a comparison of the detected motion data and the broadcast motion data.

Abstract: A computing system includes virtualization servers running virtual machine sessions, and client computing devices grouped by respective enterprises. Each client computing device is operated by an end-user to access an application via a virtual desktop during one of the virtual machine sessions. An analytics server is coupled to the virtualization servers, and collects application usage parameters provided for each client computing device accessing the application during one of the virtual machine sessions, and analyzes the application usage parameters to determine application performance of the application across the client computing devices for each respective enterprise. Client computing devices having slower application performances as compared to application performances of other client computing devices are identified by the analytics server.

One of the methods includes determining, at a first device, that a second device is present; initiating a half duplex communication with the second device; configuring communication with the second device including determining whether full duplex communication is available; in response to a determination that full duplex communication is not available, communicating with the second device in half duplex mode; and in response to a determination that full duplex communication is available, communication with the second device in full duplex mode.

Abstract: At least one processor in a content distribution device in a multichannel video program distributor (MVPD) system receives a video feed, a plurality of triggers, and metadata from a broadcast provider system via a communication network, and determines a plurality of segments in the received video feed. The plurality of segments are determined based on the received plurality of triggers and the metadata. The processor embeds at least one content marker in at least one segment of the plurality of segments. The at least one content marker includes attribute information associated with at least one video-on-demand (VOD) content asset. The processor dynamically generates the at least one VOD content asset based on the at least one content marker, and transmits the at least one VOD content asset to at least one server communicatively coupled with the MVPD system.

Abstract: Non-invasive sensor apparatus and method for assessing cardiac performance. A wide variety of different sensor components can capture sensor readings relating to patient attributes. Those sensor readings can then be compared by a processor component to derive a cardiac performance indicator relating to the patient.

Abstract: In one example embodiment, a server receives an email message from a user device, and extracts email addresses from the email message. The server determines whether the email addresses are associated with multiple organizations. If it is determined that the email addresses are associated with the multiple organizations, the server sends a response to the email message including a scheduling link that, when selected, provides scheduling information for one or more prospective meeting attendees associated with one or more of the email addresses. If it is determined that the email addresses are not associated with the multiple organizations, the server automatically prompts a meeting to be scheduled on respective calendars associated with the email addresses.

The graphics object is a data structure comprising predetermined fields and predetermined structure information. User input selecting a first selectable option is received. The user input is received via the graphics building interface. At least one pathname corresponding to the first selectable option is identified. The graphics object is updated based on the at least one pathname and the first selectable option. The updated of the graphics object comprises updating two or more fields of the predetermined set of fields. One of the fields is updated at least in part by populating the field with the pathname. The pathname indicates a file, a location within the file, or both where a content item corresponding to the first selectable option is stored.

Abstract: Injection systems can include a reservoir, a plunger mounted within the reservoir, and a plunger shaft including engaging the plunger within the reservoir. A motor can be coupled to the plunger shaft and can be configured to cause the plunger and plunger shaft to move within the reservoir. Systems can include a first encoder and a second encoder and a controller array in communication with the first and second encoders. The controller array can receive outputs from the first and second encoders representative of the position of the motor. Outputs from one encoder can be used to confirm the accuracy of the output of the other encoder. The controller can compare the outputs from the encoders, and, if the difference in the outputs is greater than a predetermined amount, disable operation of the motor.

Abstract: Disclosed herein includes a system, a method, and a device for disabling services in a cluster. A master node of a plurality of nodes of a cluster can receive a disable instruction for a service of the cluster. The master node can transmit to the plurality of nodes a transition instruction to instruct the other nodes to stop accepting requests from one or more client devices for the service. The master node can receive, from each of the plurality of nodes, a client count value indicative of a number of current client connections from the one or more client devices to one or more respective nodes of the plurality of nodes. The master node can determine that the client count value is a zero value for each node of the plurality of nodes. The master node can transmit an out of service instruction to each node of the plurality of nodes to disable the service on the cluster.

Abstract: A voltage regulator has a switching circuit and a control circuit. The switching circuit receives an input voltage and provides an output voltage and an output current. The control circuit provides a control signal to the switching circuit, such that the output voltage is maintained at a clamp voltage level when the output current is lower than a transition current level, and the output voltage decreases as the output current increases when the output current is higher than the transition current level.

Abstract: A user is authenticated to a defined space, by entering identification data and phone data that respectively identify the user and the user's phone to a server, by sending an application from the server along a wireless connection to the user's phone after entry of the identification data and the phone data by executing the application received by the user's phone to create a virtual symbol of virtual characters in the user's phone, by posting a security symbol in the defined space, by capturing a security image of security characters from the security symbol with the user's phone, by comparing the security characters with the virtual characters, and by authenticating the user to the defined space when the virtual characters match the security characters.

Abstract: A cooling system and method for using the cooling system are described. The cooling system includes a plurality of individual piezoelectric cooling elements spatially arranged in an array extending in at least two dimensions, a communications interface and driving circuitry. The communications interface is associated with the individual piezoelectric cooling elements such that selected individual piezoelectric cooling elements within the array can be activated based at least in part on heat energy generated in the vicinity of the selected individual piezoelectric cooling elements. The driving circuitry is associated with the individual piezoelectric cooling elements and is configured to drive the selected individual piezoelectric cooling elements.

Abstract: A method for automatically encrypting files is disclosed. In some cases, the method may be performed by computer hardware comprising one or more processors. The method can include detecting access to a first file, which may be stored in a primary storage system. Further, the method can include determining whether the access comprises a write access. In response to determining that the access comprises a write access, the method can include accessing file metadata associated with the first file and accessing a set of encryption rules. In addition, the method can include determining whether the file metadata satisfies the set of encryption rules. In response to determining that the file metadata satisfies the set of encryption rules, the method can include encrypting the first file to obtain a first encrypted file and modifying an extension of the first encrypted file to include an encryption extension.
