Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing an image of a financial payment document captured using a mobile device and classifying the type of payment document in order to extract the content therein. These methods may be implemented on a mobile device or a central server, and can be used to identify content on the payment document and determine whether the payment document is ready to be processed by a business or financial institution. The system can identify the type of payment document by identifying features on the payment document and performing a series of steps to determine probabilities that the payment document belongs to a specific document type. The identification steps are arranged starting with the fastest step in order to attempt to quickly determine the payment document type without requiring lengthy, extensive analysis.

Abstract: A heat transfer system includes fluid transfer cells that vibrationally move a fluid and a thermally conductive cover that conducts heat from the cells while avoiding transfer of mechanical energy between the cells. A fluid transfer module includes outer and inner walls, a support member, and a membrane. The outer wall has an outer opening. The inner wall has an inner opening. The support member is disposed laterally on the inner wall such that a flow chamber is defined between the outer and inner walls. The membrane is supported by the support member along the outer wall. A fluid transfer module includes an inlet port and an actuator. The actuator undergoes vibrational motion and has first and second vibrational modes. The first vibrational mode causes fluid to enter the inlet port. The second vibrational mode expels fluid from the inlet port, which reduces clogging of the inlet port.

Abstract: A storage manager for an information management system determines whether one or more predetermined conditions have been met for transferring metadata of previously performed backup jobs stored in a first management database. A backup job may correspond to a backup operation of a primary storage device of a first client computing device. In response to a determination that one or more of the predetermined conditions have been met, the storage manager may transfer metadata for a second plurality of backup jobs to a second management database of a recovery manager. The recovery manager may receive a request to restore data to the primary storage device of the first client computing device based on the metadata of the second plurality of backup jobs. A media agent managed by the recovery manager may then restore the requested data to the primary storage device of the first client computing device.
Abstract: An information management system can detect instances in which data is being stored in a non-standard file path and can alert the user of the client computing device, modify the storage policy to include the non-standard file path, and/or initiate a secondary copy operation to prevent data loss of the data stored in the non-standard file path. For example, a client computing device may execute a filter driver that monitors interactions with files in the file system. The filter driver can identify any non-standard file paths not subject to a storage policy that include files in which interactions occurred. For a non-standard file path, the filter driver can determine whether the frequency of interaction with files in the non-standard file path satisfies a threshold frequency. If the threshold is satisfied, then the filter driver may determine that the files should be subject to the storage policy and take appropriate action.

Abstract: Devices and methods enable optimizing a signal of interest based on identifying and analyzing the signal of interest based on radio frequency energy measurements. Signal data is compared with stored data to identify the signal of interest. Signal degradation data is calculated based on noise figure parameters, hardware parameters and environment parameters. The signal of interest is optimized based on the signal degradation data. Terrain data is also operable to be used for optimizing the signal of interest.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing at least one report relating to a wireless communications spectrum. At least one device is operable for wideband scan; to detect and measure at least one signal transmitted from at least one signal emitting device autonomously, thereby creating signal data; to analyze the signal data in near real-time, thereby creating analyzed data; generate the at least one report in near real-time; and to communicate at least a portion of the at least one report over a network to at least one remote device.
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a system and method is used for collecting, measuring, and reporting on data associated with healthcare treatment. A healthcare data system collects data from a patient using an interactive voice response system (IVR). The IVR periodically contacts the patient with questions as to severity of symptoms. The severity data is processed along with prior collected data to report treatment progress to the patient, to a provider, to a provider organization and to a payer. Symptom weights are entered by a provider and used in measuring progress. Other methods to collecting severity data may be used, such as email and text messaging.
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments concern a composition comprising DAB chromogen, and/or derivative thereof, a stabilizer, and polymer capable of preventing or reducing DAB precipitation relative to a composition that does not comprise the polymer. Abstract: A method for the application of agricultural fluid to a field includes determining a location of each of a plurality of nozzles of an agricultural spraying machine. A flow rate for each of the nozzles is determined based on each respective nozzle's location in the field. A field map is used to determine a crop requirement and application restriction associated with a nozzle's location. The field map contains indications of crop requirements and application restrictions. The flow rate for a nozzle is determined by comparing the nozzle's location to the field map. A flow rate signal is transmitted to each of the nozzles based on its determined flow rate.
Abstract: Provided herein are methods for sequencing both strands of a double stranded nucleic acid fragment that improves fidelity and accuracy of a sequence determination compared to traditional next generation sequencing methods. Compositions and kits for use in the methods are also provided.
