  • Patent number: 11992592
Abstract: An extremely lightweight and compact heating system greatly increasing patient mobility is provided. The use of a flat plate can be used to greatly decrease package size and weight while providing comparable heat transfer by exploiting the ability of the dialysis bags to conform to this surface and through the greater heating area possible with the flat plate design. A short rim around the plate provides centering and protecting against minor leakage without substantially increasing package height. Protection against leakage is buttressed by sealing the rim to the plate and the use of 12 V only within the heating unit. The result is a lightweight warming device with a short that can be easily transported by the patient greatly improving patient lifestyle and freedom.

  • Patent number: 11997080
Abstract: A method for validating a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) includes generating electronic media content including the URL, generating a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) including the URL, sending the CSR to a certificate signing server, receiving a signed certificate corresponding to the CSR from the certificate signing server, and encoding the signed certificate as metadata in the electronic media content and/or encoding a serial number associated with the signed certificate as metadata in the electronic media content. A user can send the URL to another user through a chat message, an email, a word processing document or other business application, or a document which has a URL through a pen drive, email, or chat message. The certificate-based mechanism is used to validate the origin (sender) of the URL so that the recipients know that the URL can be accessed without having to separately analyze the security risks.

  • Patent number: 11997050
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to methods, apparatus, and computer readable media configured to schedule individual orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) resources on an upstream channel to serve a data transmission request from a downstream device. A schedule for a set of available resources on the upstream channel to serve the data transmission request is generated, based on a dynamic bit loading profile, including generating data indicative of a first bit loading profile for a first set of resources from the set of available resources for a first burst, and data indicative of a second bit loading profile for a second set of resources from the set of available resources for a second burst. The schedule is transmitted to a downstream device, such that the downstream device is configured to encode the first burst using the first bit loading profile and the second burst using the second bit loading profile.
