  • Patent number: 8162604
Abstract: The guide device for the diffusor at the compressor impeller outlet of a radial compressor has guide blades with stepped inlet edges. The step is implemented by setting back the hub-side inlet edge. This meridional stepping divides the guide blades into two component blades, of which the first component blade is made longer than the second component blade. The set-back of the inlet edge of the hub-side component blade and the associated superposition of the noise fields which are produced on the front and rear inlet edge of the diffusor leads to improvement of the acoustic properties of the compressor.

  • Patent number: 8160967
Abstract: A method for recovering an authorization code which is assigned to a licensee by a licensor and is stored in an access-protected data processing device that is connected to a computer of said licensee via an interface. A backup file which is part of the authorization code and contains the license parameters is stored on the licensee's computer. The license parameters associated with the licensor are read out of the backup file, the license parameters are sent to the respective licensor, authorization codes corresponding to the received license parameters are recovered at the level of the licensor, the recovered authorization code is then returned to the licensee's computer, and the recovered authorization codes are stored in the data processing device connected to the licensee's computer.

  • Publication number: 20120085370
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for filling or packing contents, particularly beverages, food, medications, or the like, into containers. As the containers pass through the device from an inlet to an outlet side, the containers passing through the working chamber have a sterile fluid, particularly sterile air, applied thereto for preventing germ growth. In order to reduce the cleaning effort for lines for the sterile fluid, the invention proposes that a cleaning medium having an internal line is inserted into the line for applying the sterile fluid. The line no longer needs to be disassembled in order to load the sterile fluid. In order to distribute the sterile fluid uniformly throughout the containers in a working chamber, the sterile fluid is distributed in two stages, first by means of the pipe extending into the working chamber, as described above and then through a profile extending over the containers and below the pipe, having openings for passing the sterile fluid.

  • Patent number: 8142594
Abstract: A method for the multi-track tailoring of transdermal therapeutic patches having at least a one-layer, adhesive reservoir foil containing an active ingredient, which is disposed between an adhesive back foil and a removable protective foil. The reservoir foils are applied per track with their adhesive layers on a transport element moving discontinuously in the longitudinal direction of the reservoir foils. After separating sections of the size of a patch or band aid the same are transferred to a further transport element that is moved continuously for depositing the same thereon in spaced relationship. The present invention provides a method for multi-track tailoring, wherein web-shaped reservoir foils, which can be unwound from rolls, may be utilized without producing any waste containing the active ingredient.
