Patent number: 11503352Abstract: A media content packaging and distribution system that handles distribution of channels to be viewed on consumer devices receives a media feed and a first programming schedule of a first channel from a source device, and receives audience-based parameters from an external data source over a distribution system. Media items to be inserted in the media feed of the first channel are determined based on the audience-based parameters and defined parameters. The determined media items in the media feed of the first channel are dynamically scheduled for delivery over the distribution system to be viewed on one or more of the consumer devices, based on the received audience-based parameters and the defined parameters. The audience-based parameters include demographics data, targeted audience data, and/or device type and the data received from the external data source includes trending information of media items currently trending in one or more social network platforms.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2016Date of Patent: November 15, 2022Assignee: Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.Inventors: Donald Jude Loheide, Carlos Jorge M Monteiro, Nishith Kumar Sinha, Nicolas Paul Webb, James J Arnzen, Mark Cooper Pope, V

Patent number: 11500494Abstract: A method includes receiving energy data associated with an ultrasound input device coupled to a material layer. The energy data comprises a current energy value and past energy values associated with reflected ultrasound signals received at the ultrasound input device in response to the ultrasound input device transmitting emitted signals through the material layer towards an external surface of the material layer. The method can then include comparing the energy data with threshold data to generate a current trigger value for trigger data. The trigger data is indicative of an occurrence of a touch event when the current energy value exceeds a current threshold value of the threshold data. Patent number: 11499889Abstract: A computer-implemented method analyzes periodic information in digital vibration data associated with a machine. The method involves generating a spectral periodic information plot (PIP) based on the digital vibration data, and locating amplitude peaks in the PIP at frequencies associated with fundamental frequencies of interest. Peaks occurring at fundamental fault frequencies and at related harmonic frequencies are removed from the PIP, while retaining energy values associated with the removed peaks. Remaining peaks in the PIP are classified as synchronous periodic peaks and non-synchronous periodic peaks. The remaining peaks in the PIP are graphically plotted along with the fault frequencies and related harmonic frequencies in different colors or different line styles on a display device to identify different groups of frequencies of interest.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2021Date of Patent: November 15, 2022Assignee: Computational Systems, Inc.Inventor: Stewart V. Patent number: 11498443Abstract: A system comprises an EVSE and an electric vehicle having a precharge mode. To charge a battery, the vehicle is connected to the EVSE. In some cases, the battery is unable to energize power buses. For example, if the battery is too cold and has insufficient charge, then the battery will not energize the power buses. If the battery cannot energize the power buses, then a precharge mode is enabled. During the precharge mode, charge is pumped onto two power buses until a setpoint voltage is reached. For example, a precharge circuit pumps charge onto one power bus and a power converter pumps charge from that bus onto a second bus. Once the setpoint voltage is reached, a current source charger is enabled, and energy stored on both buses is used to facilitate the turn-on of the charger, the precharge mode is disabled, and the EVSE charges the battery.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2020Date of Patent: November 15, 2022Assignee: Motiv Power Systems, Inc.Inventors: Sowmya Akella, James Michael Castelaz, Venkatesh Prasad Hanglur Narasimha, Joshua Sealand
