Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and articles of manufacture for implementing electronic design closure with reduction techniques. A timing graph and compact timing data for an analysis view of a set of analysis views may be determined for an electronic design. A reduced set of dominant analysis views may be determined based at least in part upon a result of a timing dominance analysis. Timing data may be loaded for at least the reduced set of dominant analysis views; and a design closure task may be performed on the electronic design using at least the timing data and the reduced set of dominance analysis views.
Abstract: A method may involve receiving, by a device operated by a user, at least one first input indicating that information is to be shared with at least one individual other than the user. The first device may acquire first biometric data from the at least one individual, and the information may be caused to be made accessible to at least one account that is associated with stored biometric data that matches the first biometric data.
Abstract: The present inventors devised a holistic approach for protecting serverless applications in single-cloud, multi-zone, multi-cloud, and/or non-cloud data center computing environments. An illustrative data storage management system discovers application assets, relationships, and interoperability dependencies and creates an “application entity” that references the various assets. Protection preferences apply to the application entity as a whole. An orchestration function in the system coordinates storage management operations (e.g., backup, replication, live synchronization, etc.) in a suitable order of operations gleaned from asset dependencies, if any. A set of copies of the application's discovered assets are generated in coordinated fashion and represent a point-in-time copy of the application. The point-in-time copy can be restored and/or migrated to other computing services by the data storage management system.

Abstract: Touch, multi-touch, gesture, flick and stylus pen input may be supported for remoted applications. For example, a touch capable client device may receive touch input for a remoted application executing on a server. In such an instance, the touch input may be transmitted to the server for processing. The server may modify the application display or the application functionality and provide an output to the client device. In some arrangements, the output may correspond to instructions for modifying a display of the application while in other examples, the output may correspond to an image of the changed application display. Additionally or alternatively, determining a functionality associated with touch input may be performed based on user definitions, user preferences, server definitions (e.g., operating system on the server), client definitions (e.g., operating system on the client) and the like and/or combinations thereof. Aspects may also include resolving latency and enhancing user experience.

The device power control circuitry includes at least one capacitor; charging control circuitry for switching between charging the at least one capacitor using the non-rechargeable battery and discharging the at least one capacitor to provide power for device operations. The IMD is configured to maintain a count related to a number of times of discharge of the at least one capacitor to provide an end-of-life estimation for the non-rechargeable battery.
Abstract: An improved information management system is described herein that can use artificial intelligence to classify data files (e.g., emails, documents, audio files, video files, etc.) and/or surface in a user interface the classification assigned to the data files. For example, a lightweight training or a heavyweight training can be employed to train classifiers to classify the data files. Use of artificial intelligence to classify data files may reduce the amount of computing resources that the information management system allocates to the data file review process because an auditor may be able to quickly identify those data files that meet the desired criteria using the classification and only request access to those data files. Thus, the information management system may be able to allocate more computing resources to normal or routine tasks, ensuring that such tasks are completed and/or completed in an appropriate amount of time.

Abstract: A smart energy device performs a method which includes executing, during a first time period, a first control event wherein an operational parameter of the smart energy device is controlled by the first control event during a first time period. A second control event is then executed, during a second time period, wherein the operational parameter of the smart energy device is controlled by the second control event during a second time period beginning at an end of the first time period. In response to detection of a first defined trigger condition, the method includes opting out of control of the operational parameter of the smart energy device by the second control event and transitioning to control of the operational parameter of the smart energy device by the first control event during a third time period following the detection of the first defined trigger condition.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses may provide management of messaging for one or more devices of a user according to the user's configurable presence schedule. A messaging management server may receive notifications of messages and the messages themselves from a messaging service provider. The messages may have originated from a first user and be intended for receipt by a second user. After a preset time period has elapsed, a notification of the message may be sent from the messaging management server to each of the second user's devices in accordance with the second user's presence schedule. Subsequent messages from the first user and intended for the second user may be routed from the messaging management server to the device on which the second user responded to the notification of the initial message and might not be routed to the second user's other devices.

Abstract: While mobile device location remains, private, user transaction controls are applied to a specific authorization request. The user transaction controls are pre-configured by the user of the mobile account holder device and identified by the enriched merchant data. Location algorithms predict transaction locations used to obtain enriched merchant data responsive to location privacy mode. Responsive to the user transaction controls, a fraud recommendation response is sent to the approval system, in real time with the transaction. The fraud recommendation response prevents a false negative by using an enriched merchant location rather than the raw merchant location.
