  • Patent number: 10817968
Abstract: A location enabled mobile wireless device and central system cooperate to provide traffic control such as vehicle inspection site services and toll station services. Traffic control information such as vehicle inspection site information and toll station information is independently processed by a third party provider and sent to the central system. The mobile wireless device monitors its location and sends location and vehicle related information to the central system. The central system compares data from the third party provider and the mobile wireless device. The mobile wireless device or the central system take an action based on the comparison, such as toll payment or vehicle inspection site operations.

  • Patent number: 10817208
Abstract: Disclosed methods and systems leverage resources in a storage management system to partially synchronize primary data files based on synchronizing selected portions thereof without regard to changes that may be occurring in other non-synchronized portions. Accordingly, a number of primary data files may be partially synchronized by synchronizing designated portions thereof via auto-restore operations from backup data. This approach relies on storage management resources to designate portions of source data that is to be kept synchronized across any number of targets; detect changes to the designated portions; back up changes to secondary storage; and distribute the changes from secondary storage to the associated targets, with minimal impact to the primary data environment. The approach may be mutually applied, so that changes in any one of an associated group of source data files may be likewise detected, backed up, and distributed to the other members of the group.

  • Patent number: 10816373
Abstract: An improved method of sealing a window into an aperture in a body uses a lubricant comprising polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) particles suspended in a volatile, low viscosity, low surface tension carrier fluid. The carrier fluid is applied to one or both of the sidewalls of the window and aperture, and the window is pressed into the aperture such that the carrier fluid evaporates, leaving the PTFE particles to fill interstitial surface voids, while enabling the sidewall of the window to make intimate mechanical contact with the sidewall of the aperture. While having broader application, the present disclosure finds particular utility in optical characterization techniques based upon the Raman effect and fluorescence probes used in process monitoring and control.

  • Patent number: 10817086
Abstract: Touch, multi-touch, gesture, flick and stylus pen input may be supported for remoted applications. For example, a touch capable client device may receive touch input for a remoted application executing on a server. In such an instance, the touch input may be transmitted to the server for processing. The server may subsequently modify the application display or the application functionality and provide an output to the client device. In some arrangements, the output may correspond to instructions for modifying a display of the application while in other examples, the output may correspond to an image of the changed application display. Additionally or alternatively, determining a functionality associated with touch input may be performed based on user definitions, user preferences, server definitions (e.g., operating system on the server), client definitions (e.g., operating system on the client) and the like and/or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 10815695
Abstract: A power control system for use with an electric lock mechanism having an actuator comprises a power supply to output an output voltage to the actuator. A credential device signals the power supply to output the voltage upon receiving an authorized code. A microcontroller controls the power supply, the credential device, and the actuator and may operate in an Access Mode or a Dog Mode. When in Access Mode, the actuator is unpowered and the credential device is powered until an authorized code is received and the power supply powers the actuator. The Dog Mode has an awake mode where the actuator is powered and the credential device is unpowered after the actuator remains in the powered state for a length of time. A sleep mode has the actuator unpowered and the credential device powered until an authorized code is received and the power supply powers the actuator.
