Abstract: A graph-based analysis (GBA) output is obtained comprising timing information pertaining to a plurality of paths in an integrated circuit. A path-based analysis (PBA) is performed on the GBA output to analyze timing of the plurality of paths and generate a set of improved timing results; wherein the physical measurements used by the PBA are more accurate than the physical measurements used by the GBA. The PBA result is output to an optimizer to automatically adjust the circuit.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for implementing a processor-local (e.g., a CPU-local) storage mechanism. An exemplary system includes a plurality of processors executing an operating system, the operating system including a processor local storage mechanism, wherein each processor accesses data unique to the processor based on the processor local storage mechanism. Each of the plurality of processors of the system may have controlled access to the resource and each of the processors is dedicated to one of a plurality of tasks of an application. The application including the plurality of tasks may be replicated using the processor local storage mechanism, wherein each of the tasks of the replicated application includes an affinity to one of the plurality of processors.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a tiered storage system is disclosed that provides for failover protection during data backup operations. The system can provide for an index, or catalog, for identifying and enabling restoration of backup data located on a storage device. The system further maintains a set of transaction logs generated by media agent modules that identify metadata with respect to individual data chunks of a backup file on the storage device. A copy of the catalog and transaction logs can be stored at a location accessible by each of the media agent modules. In this manner, in case of a failure of one media agent module during backup, the transaction logs and existing catalog can be used by a second media agent module to resume the backup operation without requiring a restart of the backup process.

Abstract: Medical containers are provided, wherein the containers may be used to transport medical devices. The medical container can include a front panel, a rear panel, and a lower panel cooperating to form a cavity. The lower panel may include an absorbent material. The medical container may also include one or more absorbent band members disposed around at least a portion of the circumference of the cavity. An insert portion including a front panel, a rear panel, and a lower panel may be coupled to or disposed within the medical container. The insert portion may be formed from an absorbent material. Methods of using the medical containers are also provided.

Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling fluid delivery via a manually administrable medication container to a patient through a fluid delivery pathway are provided. The systems and methods described herein incorporate rules-based clinical decision support logic to drive a flow control valve within a flow pathway based on a determination of whether or not an IV fluid connected to an input port on the pathway is appropriate for patient administration by considering such factors as patient-specific clinical circumstances, current medical orders, and accepted delivery protocols. Related apparatus, systems, methods and articles are also described.

Abstract: An automated liquid inventory monitoring and inventory reconciliation system. The system uses a liquid densitometer to precisely measure the density of liquid being dispensed. This allows the system to account for the significant temperature-induced volume variations existing in common liquids such as gasoline. In the preferred embodiments, a fuel inventory processor tracks the quantity of fuel loaded into the tank and the quantity of fuel dispensed to maintain an ongoing computation of the quantity of fuel that should be present in the tank. An accurate tank depth measurement device is also employed. The processor compares the tank depth measurement to the computed quantity of fuel in the tank and uses the values to create an updated tank strapping chart.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a flexible container, a port, and a support structure. The container includes a first layer coupled to a second layer to define a storage volume within which a tissue specimen can be contained. The first layer is characterized by a first stiffness and the second layer characterized by a second stiffness. An edge of the first layer is spaced apart from an edge of the second layer to define an opening into the storage volume. The edge of the first layer and the edge of the second layer are configured to form a peelable seal that hermetically seals the storage volume such that the first layer can be peeled away from the second layer to expose the storage volume. The port is coupled to the flexible container and allows fluid communication between the storage volume and an external volume. The support structure is configured to support the tissue specimen within the storage volume and is characterized by a third stiffness.

Abstract: A package assembly suitable for use in storing and shipping a plurality of product containers includes a shipping configuration and a display configuration. In the shipping configuration the package assembly is constructed from a single blank of packaging material and formed into a case into which a plurality of product containers are inserted. In the display configuration a top portion of the case is removed from a bottom portion of the case along one or more tear lines on the blank.

Abstract: Touch events can be detected using an ultrasound input device coupled to a surface, such as a surface of a piece of furniture or electronic device. The ultrasound input device can generate ultrasonic waves in the surface, the reflections of which can be measured by the ultrasound input device. When a touch is made to the surface (e.g., opposite the ultrasound input device), the physical contact can absorb some of the energy of the outgoing ultrasonic waves (e.g., the originally transmitted wave and any subsequent outgoing reflections). Energy measurements associated with the measured reflections can thus be used to identify touch events. Various techniques can be used to make the energy measurements and reduce identification of false touch events.

A technique may comprise receiving, by a client application, a first application from web servers. Upon receipt of a request for a second application, the first application may display a first loading display. The client application and/or the first application may then retrieve the second application and, in the process of retrieving the second application, cause the second application to display a similar loading display. When the client application switches from the first application to the second application, the client may display the second loading display. The similarity of the two loading displays may minimize the interruption perceived by the user. The loading displays may comprise indications of loading status, advertisements, interactive elements, or other content for display to the user.

Abstract: The subject disclosure presents systems and computer-implemented methods for automatic immune cell detection that is of assistance in clinical immune profile studies. The automatic immune cell detection method involves retrieving a plurality of image channels from a multi-channel image such as an RGB image or biologically meaningful unmixed image. A cell detector is trained to identify the immune cells by a convolutional neural network in one or multiple image channels. Further, the automatic immune cell detection algorithm involves utilizing a non-maximum suppression algorithm to obtain the immune cell coordinates from a probability map of immune cell presence possibility generated from the convolutional neural network classifier.

Abstract: Embodiments include herein are directed towards a method for generating an input/output model from a SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) netlist. Embodiments may include receiving, using a processor, a SPICE netlist associated with an electronic design and selecting at least a portion of the SPICE netlist for analysis. Embodiments may further include reading the selected portion of the SPICE netlist and rendering a schematic symbol corresponding to the selected portion of the netlist. Embodiments may also include performing one or more operations associated with the schematic symbol and translating the one or more operations into simulation commands.

In particular, bare domains are resolved by look-up of “A” records, per the IETF standards for DNS resolution. Technology is disclosed that improves resolution of bare domains to edge servers or other devices of a content delivery network or cloud-based content provider (collectively referred to as CDNs).

Abstract: A system and method for static mixing in a waste water settling tank to increase recovery of first entrained solids and solvated materials, comprising a settling tank having a recirculation ring and a hopper bottom defining a sludge hopper having a flat bottom portion, a fluid containment assembly, and a fluid deflector assembly with an optional fluid dispersion assembly. The system further comprises an inlet pipe for introduction of waste water containing second entrained solids and solvated materials into the settling tank and a discharge outlet in proximity to the underside of the fluid deflector assembly with nozzle facing downward. Influent waste water is directed both downward into the fluid containment assembly and upward into the center of the fluid deflector assembly and an optional fluid dispersion assembly to distribute the influent into contact with previously introduced waste water to cause coalescence of the first and second entrained solids.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide sailing information to users of a mobile structure. A sailing user interface system includes a logic device in communication with a compass or orientation sensor, a wind sensor, and/or a speed sensor. Sensor signals provided by the various sensors are used to determine a heading and a wind direction for the mobile structure, which can be referenced to Magnet North. The wind direction and heading may be used to orient a sail chart rendered by the logic device. The sail chart graphically indicates the heading of the mobile structure relative to the wind direction and a performance contour for the mobile structure. The sail chart may be displayed to a user to refine manual operation of the mobile structure, and the information rendered in the sail chart may be used to autopilot the mobile structure.
