  • Patent number: 10542330
Abstract: A method for automatic adaptive network planning includes receiving a first list which includes a plurality of potential sites. A set of the network coverage goals and one or more models substantially related to the network coverage are received. A wireless network coverage map is generated for each site based on the received model(s). The coverage map includes a plurality of locations within a corresponding coverage area. For each location and for each site the likelihood of the network coverage goals being realized is calculated using the generated wireless network coverage map. A second list of proposed active sites is automatically generated. The second list includes a subset of the sites included in the first list based on the calculations performed for each location. The second list of the proposed active sites substantially meets the set of network coverage goals.

  • Patent number: 10540516
Abstract: A backup or storage management system is provided that can secure data within a primary storage environment that stores data in an unsecured format. The storage management system can automatically analyze data received for backup from the primary storage environment and determine whether the data includes information that has been identified as sensitive and/or information that is determined within a threshold degree of probability to be sensitive. The storage management system can then modify the storage of the data that includes sensitive information at the primary storage environment, thereby enabling the data to be secured within the unsecured, or partially secured, primary storage environment. Advantageously, in certain embodiments, by securing data with sensitive information within an unsecured storage environment, embodiments disclosed herein can reduce the occurrences of a data breach or data leak.

  • Patent number: 10540327
Abstract: A system and method for data deduplication is presented. Data received from one or more computing systems is deduplicated, and the results of the deduplication process stored in a reference table. A representative subset of the reference table is shared among a plurality of systems that utilize the data deduplication repository. This representative subset of the reference table can be used by the computing systems to deduplicate data locally before it is sent to the repository for storage. Likewise, it can be used to allow deduplicated data to be returned from the repository to the computing systems. In some cases, the representative subset can be a proper subset wherein a portion of the referenced table is identified shared among the computing systems to reduce bandwidth requirements for reference-table synchronization.

  • Patent number: 10537312
Abstract: An apparatus for closing an opening in a body tissue. The apparatus includes a shaft, a plurality of arms, and an expander. The arms each extend between a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end of each arm is hingedly attached to or integrally formed with the shaft. The arms are laterally spaced apart from each other. The arms are movable between a retracted configuration, in which the arms are each aligned along the shaft, and a deployed configuration, in which the proximal end of each arm pivots respectively about the distal end of the arm so as to extend laterally away from the shaft. The expander is positioned within the shaft, and movement of the expander causes the arms to move between the retracted and deployed configurations. Methods of using the apparatus are also included.

  • Patent number: 10540466
Abstract: An exemplary emulation computer may allocate a portion of its emulation memory for capturing probe data during a runtime of emulating a device under test (DUT). The emulation computer may instantiate a plurality of streaming probes from dynamic netlists provided by a user. The streaming probes may capture non-transitory internal signals within the DUT and transmit the captured non-transitory internal signals to the allocated portion of the emulation memory, which in turn may store the received signals as waveform data records. During the runtime of emulating the DUT, the emulation computer may receive an upload request for the waveform data records from a workstation computer. In response to the request, the emulation computer may transmit the waveform data records to the workstation computer. The emulation computer does not have to pause or stop the runtime of emulating the DUT while transmitting the data records to the workstation computer.

  • Patent number: 10538855
Abstract: Provided are cleaning methods and systems to remove unintended metallic deposits from electroplating apparatuses using reverse current deplating techniques. Such cleaning involves positioning a cleaning (deplating) disk in an electroplating cup similar to a regular processed substrate. The front surface of the cleaning disk includes a corrosion resistant conductive material to form electrical connections to deposits on the cup's surfaces. The disk is sealed in the cup and submerged into a plating solution. A reverse current is then applied to the front conductive surface of the disk to initiate deplating of the deposits. Sealing compression in the cup may change during cleaning to cause different deformation of the lip seal and to form new electrical connections to the deposits. The proposed cleaning may be applied to remove deposits formed during electroplating of alloys, in particular, tin-silver alloys widely used for semiconductor and wafer level packaging.

  • Publication number: 20200016951
Abstract: An air suspension system which uses software logic and internal signals and/or external signals available to automatically adjust the ride height of the vehicle. The air suspension system also may respond to requests from other vehicle systems requesting a change in ride height. Signals available to the vehicle may be used to detect parking lot maneuvers (for example, a combination of low speed, high steering angle, and low lateral acceleration) and automatically begin to lower the ride height of the vehicle to a calibrated “entry/exit” ride height. Additionally, a camera, radar, and/or parking sensor signals are utilized to detect potential roof or undercarriage clearance issues, and automatically adjust the ride height of the vehicle. The air suspension system may also adjust the ride height of the vehicle when the electronic brake system (EBS) detects rough road, automatically increasing the ride height of the vehicle to increase ground clearance.
