  • Publication number: 20190298459
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for guiding an astigmatism correction procedure on an eye of a patient are disclosed. An example apparatus include a photosensor configured to record a pre-operative still image of an ocular target surgical site of the patient. The apparatus also includes a real-time, multidimensional visualization module configured to produce a real-time multidimensional visualization of the ocular target surgical site during an astigmatism correction procedure. The apparatus further includes a data processor configured to determine a virtual indicium that includes data for guiding the astigmatism correction procedure. The data processor uses the pre-operative still image to align the virtual indicium with the multidimensional visualization such that the virtual indicium is rotationally accurate. The data processor then displays the multidimensional visualization of the ocular target surgical site in conjunction with the virtual indicium.

  • Publication number: 20190302571
Abstract: A photonically-sampled electronically-quantized analog-to-digital converter generates an optical signal comprising a series of optical pulses. The optical signal is split into a first and a second optical path. The split optical signal is detected in the first path and then the detected optical signal is converted to a reference digital signal. The split optical signal in the second path is modulated with an input RF signal and a plurality of demultiplexed RF-modulated optically-sampled signals is generated from the modulated optical signal. The plurality of demultiplexed RF-modulated optically-sampled signals is then pulse broadened, detected, and converted to a plurality of sampled-RF digital signals. The reference digital signal and the plurality of sampled-RF digital signals are digital signal processed to generate a digital representation of the input RF signal.

  • Patent number: 10432746
Abstract: Aspects described herein provide improved system architectures for a cross-domain proxy so that server/controller software may be placed in a cloud-based environment, with only limited equipment required on-premises at a user location for use by application client software. Aspects described herein provide techniques for communicating information between disparate domains, while each party to the transaction believes it is on the same domain as the other party to the transaction. Aspects described herein generally relate to a method to transparently transport the Citrix Brokering Protocol (CBP, or other protocols) between On-Premises VDAs (e.g., virtualized Windows computers) to an In-Cloud Broker running on the Desktop Delivery Controllers (DDCs) when each resides in different domains. Using aspects described herein, resources that otherwise need to be co-located on the same administrative domain can be moved to different domains, e.g., using a cloud-based system architecture.

  • Patent number: 10429914
Abstract: Multi-level data center using consolidated power control is disclosed. One or more controllers communicate with one or more power supplies and sensors to adapt to dynamic load requirements and to distribute DC-power efficiently across multiple IT racks. The distributed DC-power includes one or more DC-voltages. Batteries can be temporarily switched into a power supply circuit to supplement the power supply during spikes in power load demand while a controller reconfigures power supplies to meet the new demand. One or more DC-to-AC converters handle legacy power loads. The DC-to-AC converters are modular and are paralleled for redundancy. The DC-to-AC converters are sourced from the one or more AC-to-DC converters. The AC power is synchronized for correct power flow control. The one or more controllers communicate with the one or more AC-power supplies to dynamically allocate AC-power from the DC-to-AC converters to the multiple legacy IT racks.
