  • Patent number: 10318206
Abstract: The data storage system according to certain aspects can filter secondary copies of data (e.g., backups, snapshots, archives, etc.) generated by multiple client computing devices into a single, filtered, global reference copy. A reference copy may be a filtered view or representation of secondary storage data in a data storage system. A reference copy may include a data structure that includes references to a subset of secondary storage data that meets certain filtering criteria. The filtering criteria may be specified by users according to user preference. Data included in a reference copy may be stored in native format (e.g., format of the application that generated the data) and be accessible through the application associated with the data.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide for analyzing impedance states of a set of nodes in a circuit design and providing a set of reasons for those impedance states. The set of reasons can include a reason regarding why a particular node is reported as being in high-impedance (highz) state or in low-impedance (lowz) state, and the reason may be for a specific time point during transient analysis of the circuit design. Some embodiments are implemented within a debugging utility of an electronic design automation (EDA) software system.

  • Patent number: 10318334
Abstract: A VIRTIO Relay Program allows packets to be transferred from a Network Interface Device (NID), across a PCIe bus to a host, and to a virtual machine executing on the host. Rather than an OvS switch subsystem of the host making packet switching decisions, switching rules are transferred to the NID and the NID makes packet switching decisions. Transfer of a packet from the NID to the host occurs across an SR-IOV compliant PCIe virtual function and into host memory. Transfer from that memory and into memory space of the virtual machine is a VIRTIO transfer. This relaying of the packet occurs in no more than two read/write transfers without the host making any packet steering decision based on any packet header. Packet counts/statistics for the switched flow are maintained by the OvS switch subsystem just as if it were the subsystem that had performed the packet switching.

  • Patent number: 10319612
Abstract: A process for the drying, and subsequent imidization, of polyimide precursors which minimizes or eliminates voids and which minimizes or eliminates discoloration. The process uses a sequential set of descending pressure operations that allow for time efficient processing of wafers. The set of descending pressure operations are interspersed with evacuation processes using heated gasses, which combine heating and byproduct evacuation. The process results in layers with reduced or eliminated voiding, discoloration, and solvent retention.

  • Patent number: 10315002
Abstract: A method of providing a breath to a human patient. The patient has a patient connection connected, by a patient circuit, to a ventilator having a first ventilator connection and a different second ventilator connection. Each of the first and second ventilator connections are in fluid communication with the patient circuit. The method includes identifying, with the ventilator, initiation of an inspiratory phase of the breath, delivering a bolus of oxygen to the first ventilator connection before or during the inspiratory phase, and delivering breathing gases comprising air to the second ventilator connection during the inspiratory phase. The ventilator isolates the bolus of oxygen delivered to the first ventilator connection from the breathing gases delivered to the second ventilator connection.

  • Patent number: 10321390
Abstract: An antenna system with network awareness includes a control system that points the antenna to a compatible network. The user provides the antenna with an input of a particular wireless service carrier and the control system begins searching for radio frequency signals that indicate the antenna is pointed at a compatible tower. Once a tower is located, the control system reads the carrier identification data transmitted from that tower to determine if the wireless carrier is compatible with the user's service. If an appropriate signal is not found, the control system will continue moving the antenna until another tower is found and the carrier identification information will again be checked. This process is repeated until a compatible tower is identified. Additional iterations can locate additional compatible towers. The antenna can be moved to a final position where the desired network signal is at the highest detected RF power.

  • Patent number: 10318157
Abstract: Systems and methods for migrating stored backup data between magnetic disks (e.g., from an existing magnetic disk to another disk), such as a new or different magnetic disk in a magnetic storage library, without interrupting or otherwise affecting secondary copy operations (e.g., operations currently writing data to the storage library) utilizing the magnetic storage library, are described. In some embodiments, the systems and methods mark one or more mount paths as full when a running secondary copy operation associated with the mount path has completed a job (regardless of the actual current capacity or intended use of the mount path), and migrate each of the one or more data volumes to a second magnetic disk of the magnetic library when the mount path associated with the data volume is marked as full.
