  • Patent number: 10387069
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing more efficient handling of I/O requests for clustered file system data subject to data migration or the like. For instance, exemplary systems can more quickly determine if certain files on primary storage represent actual file data or stub data for recalling file data from secondary storage. Certain embodiments utilize a driver cache on each cluster node to maintain a record of recently accessed files that represent regular files (as opposed to stubs). A dual-locking process, using both strict locking and relaxed locking, maintains consistency between driver caches on different nodes and the data of the underlying clustered file system, while providing improved access to the data by the different nodes. Moreover, a signaling process can be used, such as with zero-length files, for alerting drivers on different nodes that data migration is to be performed and/or that the driver caches should be flushed.

  • Patent number: 10387595
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems and methods for a deterministic modeling of integrated clock gate (ICG) activity in a vectorless power analysis of a synthesized integrated circuit (IC) design. The systems and methods may generate a priority list of the ICGs based on the slack values of the outputs of the ICGs calculated from a static timing analysis (STA). The system and method may further receive one or more priority inputs from the user and select the ICGs to be activated during power analysis based on the priority list and the priority inputs from the user. The systems and methods may propagate a set of state stimuli through the output cones of the selected ICGs and calculate the current through and power consumed by circuit devices in the output cones based on the state propagation and global data activity.

  • Patent number: 10389010
Abstract: An antenna structure includes a metallic member, a feed portion, a ground portion and a radiating portion. The metallic member includes a front frame, a backboard, and a side frame. The side frame defines a slot. The front frame defines a first gap and a second gap, which are in communication with the slot and extend across the front frame. A straight portion of the front frame between the first gap and the second gap forms a radiating section. The feed portion and the ground portion are electrically connected to the radiating section. Current enters the radiating section from the feed portion. The current flows through the radiating section and towards the second gap. The radiating portion obtains current from the radiating section by coupling. The radiating section and the radiating portion generate radiation signals in two different frequency bands. A wireless communication device using the antenna structure is provided.

  • Patent number: 10379957
Abstract: This application describes techniques for creating a second snapshot of a first snapshot of a set of data, modifying the first snapshot, and reverting the modifications to the first snapshot. For example, portions of one or more transaction logs may be played into a database to put the database in a particular state a particular point in time. The second snapshot may then be used to revert to a prior state of the database such that additional transaction logs may be played into the database. These techniques enable the ability to put the database into multiple states as the database existed at multiple points in time. Therefore, data can be recovered from the database as the data existed at different points in time. Moreover, individual data objects in the database can be accessed and analyzed as the individual data objects existed at different points in time.

  • Patent number: 10376220
Abstract: The present invention, herein is a method and apparatus that significantly limits the effect of high frequency (“HF”) interferences on acquired electro-physiological signals, such as the EEG and EMG. Preferably, this method comprises of two separate electronic circuitries and steps or electronics for processing the signals. One circuit is used to block the transmission of HF interferences to the instrumentation amplifiers. It is comprised of a front-end active filter, a low frequency electromagnetic interference (“EMI”) shield, and an isolation barrier interface which isolates the patient from earth ground. The second circuit is used to measure the difference in potential between the two isolated sides of the isolation barrier. This so-called “cross-barrier” voltage is directly representative of the interference level that the instrumentation amplifier is subjected to. This circuit is used to confirm that the acquired signals are not corrupted by the interference.
