  • Patent number: 9863976
Abstract: A test system includes a test socket assembly for capturing low energy electromagnetic emissions from radio frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs). The test socket assembly is structured to direct electromagnetic radiation from the device under test (DUT) to a socket port coupled to one end of a waveguide for transmission to a tester. The combination of the materials comprising the socket assembly is selected to more efficiently couple electromagnetic emissions from the DUT into the waveguide. For example, a reflective plane with an adjustable position may be located below the DUT in order to increase coupling of electromagnetic radiation from the DUT into the waveguide.

  • Patent number: 9866496
Abstract: The embodiments are directed to methods and apparatuses for pairing delivery group machines with one or more server farms in computing networks. The methods and apparatus can allocate machines in a delivery group across one or more server farms in a manner that maximizes efficiency through better computer resource usage. The methods and apparatuses select a server farm having a largest available capacity, and allocate machines from a delivery group to the server farm. If the quantity of delivery group machines exceeds the server farm capacity, the remaining machines are allocated to a second server farm. The methods and appliances also provide for de-allocating server farms, by selecting a server farm with the least allocated capacity, and de-allocating one or more delivery group machines from the selected server farm to reduce the number of utilized server farms.

  • Patent number: 9866529
Abstract: The systems and methods of the present solution are directed to providing Entity Tag persistency by a device intermediary to a client and a plurality of servers. An intermediary device between a client and one or more back-end servers can receive an entity requested by the client from an origin server that provides the requested content. The intermediary device can encode the back-end server information onto an ETag of the entity, cache the entity with the encoded ETag and serve the entity with the encoded ETag to the client. In this way, when the client attempts to validate the entity by sending a request including the encoded ETag to the intermediary device, the intermediary device decodes the encoded ETag to extract the identity of the backend server and sends the request to validate the entity to the identified server that originally sent the entity that included the requested content.

  • Patent number: 9863373
Abstract: An active purge system module which includes a passive bypass valve assembly that allows for purge of a canister with engine vacuum or through the use of a pump, and also provides the functions of allowing air to escape the fuel tank during refueling. The valve assembly includes two valve members, which are moved between open and closed positions to direct air through the valve assembly during periods of engine vacuum, or when the valve assembly receives positive pressure from a pressure pump. The module is also used to perform a leak check when the valves are both in a closed position.

  • Patent number: 9866463
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards systems and methods for managing a rate of request for an object transmitted between a server and one or more clients via a multi-core intermediary device. A first core of the intermediary device can receive a request for an object and assume ownership of the object. The first core can store the object in shared memory along with a rate-related counter for the object and generate a hash to the object and counter. Other cores can obtain the hash from the first core and access the object and counter in shared memory. Policy engines and throttlers in operation on each core can control the rate of access to the stored object.

  • Patent number: 9866436
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for seamless network management monitoring when a device or Virtual Machine migrates. As part of a network management monitoring system and method, a separate distinct identifier is designated to each port and each device or VM being monitored. When a device is located a specific port a correlation between the distinct identifier of that port and the distinct identifier of the device is stored in a correlation table and monitored. Once this correlation changes, the network management monitoring system recognizes a migration has occurred and updates the correlation table to correlate the new port's distinct identifier with the device's distinct identifier. Parameters that were set up to be monitored for the device can then continue to be monitored at the new location.

  • Patent number: 9866300
Abstract: Four independent technologies are incorporated in this invention to efficiently and cost effectively implement dynamic last mile connectivity. The four technologies are passive optical networks (PON), Small cell, wavefront multiplexing (or K-muxing), and digital beam forming (DBF). We have filed US patents for communications architectures featuring K-muxing overlaid over low cost of PON. Those inventions relate particularly to resource allocation in passive optical networks (PON) via wavefront multiplexing (WF-muxing or K-muxing) and wavefront demultiplexing (WF-demuxing or K-demuxing). The “WF-muxing in PON” can be configured for performing remote digital beam forming (RDBF) over a service area covered by multiple small cells. The RDBF may generate multiple shaped beams with enhanced connectivity and better isolations over a same frequency slot concurrently to serve multiple users over the coverage area.
