  • Patent number: 9594739
Abstract: A system and method for enabling electronic signing of an unsigned electronic document over the internet or similar network. Responsive to receipt of document and signer information from a document sender, a document execution server makes available to all signer users over a network, the unsigned electronic document, together with signature fields in the document. The document execution server receives over the network, from one or more of the signer users, signature data representative of signer user signatures associated with the respective signature fields of the unsigned electronic document. Responsive to receipt of the signature data from one or more of the signer users, the document execution server generates a signed electronic document corresponding to the unsigned electronic document.

  • Patent number: 9596582
Abstract: Network devices in an Ad-Hoc wireless network self-survey themselves as necessary for approximate location or precise position information, based on methods employed, particularly useful for a non-open-sky environment. A WiFi Access Point (AP) with or without an internal GPS receiver and location conveyance support may utilize the mesh technique. If an Ad-Hoc network device is unable to contact a suitable location server, or a position request has otherwise failed to deliver a precise position, a WiFi AP is manually configured with appropriate location information, and then offers itself as if it were a location server (thereby becoming an ‘internal’ server’, containing either the determined or provisioned location of itself, for use by other APs or devices). A location server (either internal to the AP needing location, or external), performs a ‘mesh’ location determination by selecting position information from 3 or more location determined APs for subsequent processing.

  • Patent number: 9595247
Abstract: A heel-toe actuated bass drum pedal system includes a pedal having a heel hinge point at a rear portion and an opposing toe hinge point at a front portion. A heel transfer arm is connected between the heel hinge point and the base. A heel rocker pivot is connected to the base and a heel linkage connected between the heel transfer arm and the heel rocker pivot such that movement of the heel linkage provides rotational movement to the heel rocker pivot which may carry a drum beater. A toe rocker pivot is connected to the base and a toe linkage connected between the toe rocker pivot and the toe hinge point for providing the rotational movement to the toe rocker pivot which may include a second drum beater. A return spring biases the rocker pivots toward a preselected rotation.

  • Patent number: 9594371
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system and method for detecting execution of driving maneuvers based on pre-determined driving maneuver profiles. Some or all of the system may be installed in a vehicle and/or be otherwise coupled with a vehicle. In some implementations, the system may detect execution of driving maneuvers by the vehicle based on pre-determined driving maneuver profiles. The system may include one or more sensors configured to generate output signals conveying information related to the vehicle. In some implementations, the system may detect execution of the driving maneuvers by the vehicle based on a comparison of the information conveyed by the output signals from the sensors to criteria included in the pre-determined driving maneuver profiles.

  • Patent number: 9594861
Abstract: An improved approach is provided to implement equivalency checking. A check is performed as to whether two designs are equivalent without needing to analyze their outputs on a cycle-by-cycle basis. Instead, the two designs are checked to see if they are equivalent on the transaction-level. This approach abstracts the timing delays between the two designs, which allows verification of data transportation and transformation between the designs.

  • Patent number: 9594702
Abstract: A multi-processor includes a shared memory that stores a search key data set including multiple search keys, a processor, a Direct Memory Access (DMA) controller, and an Interlaken Look-Aside (ILA) interface circuit. The processor generates a descriptor that is sent to the DMA controller causing the DMA controller to read the search key data set. The DMA controller selects a single search key from the set and generates a lookup command message that is communicated to the ILA interface circuit. The ILA interface circuit generates an ILA packet that includes the single search key and sends the ILA packet to an external transactional memory device that generates a result data value. The result data value is communicated back to the DMA controller via the ILA interface circuit. The DMA controller stores the result data value in the shared memory and notifies the processor that the DMA process has completed.

  • Patent number: 9594706
Abstract: A Island-Based Network Flow Processor (IBNFP) includes a memory and a processor located on a first island, a Direct Memory Access (DMA) controller located on a second island, and an Interlaken Look-Aside (ILA) interface circuit and an interface circuit located on a third island. A search key data set including multiple search keys is stored in the memory. A descriptor is generated by the processor and is sent to the DMA controller, which generates a search key data request, receives the search key data set, and selects a single search key. The ILA interface circuit receives the search key, generates and ILA packet including the search key that is sent to an external transactional memory device that generates a result data value. The DMA controller receives the result data value via the ILA interface circuit, writes the result data value to the memory, and sends a DMA completion notification.

  • Patent number: 9593426
Abstract: A method for electrofilling large, high aspect ratio recessed features with copper without depositing substantial amounts of copper in the field region is provided. The method allows completely filling recessed features having aspect ratios of at least about 5:1 such as at least about 10:1, and widths of at least about 1 ?m in a substantially void-free manner without depositing more than 5% of copper in the field region (relative to the thickness deposited in the recessed feature). The method involves contacting the substrate having one or more large, high aspect ratio recessed features (such as a TSVs) with an electrolyte comprising copper ions and an organic dual state inhibitor (DSI) configured for inhibiting copper deposition in the field region, and electrodepositing copper under potential-controlled conditions, where the potential is controlled not exceed the critical potential of the DSI.

  • Patent number: 9594858
Abstract: Various embodiments scalable statistical library characterization for electronic designs by identifying an electronic design, performing circuit simulations on strongly connected components on a component-by-component basis, performing the logic cone analysis on the entire electronic design, and performing combinations of influences on the electronic design caused by variations of parameters. Some embodiments perform simulations on one or more stronger parameters or the strongest parameter of a circuit component and use the simulation results to calibrate the predicted behaviors of one or more remaining circuit components of the electronic design. Various statistical or mathematical techniques may be used for performing the combinations of influences on the electronic design caused by variations of parameters. The techniques described are scalable with the increase in complexities and sizes of electronic designs while reducing or minimizing the impact on sensitivity accuracy.

  • Patent number: 9594726
Abstract: Solving computational problems may include generating a logic circuit representation of the computational problem, encoding the logic circuit representation as a discrete optimization problem, and solving the discrete optimization problem using a quantum processor. Output(s) of the logic circuit representation may be clamped such that the solving involves effectively executing the logic circuit representation in reverse to determine input(s) that corresponds to the clamped output(s). The representation may be of a Boolean logic circuit. The discrete optimization problem may be composed of a set of miniature optimization problems, where each miniature optimization problem encodes a respective logic gate from the logic circuit representation. A quantum processor may include multiple sets of qubits, each set coupled to respective annealing signal lines such that dynamic evolution of each set of qubits is controlled independently from the dynamic evolutions of the other sets of qubits.

  • Patent number: 9596299
Abstract: The present application is directed towards systems and methods for configuring and applying autoscaling to a service group of an intermediary device for a domain based server. All the IP addresses resolved by the domain name of the server and that are determined as up will automatically become members of the service group. The resolver monitor will resolve the server's domain name based on the TTL (Time to Live) value in the address record or whenever the appropriate command is executed. Each time the domain is resolved, if there is a change in the number of IP addresses resolved, then the members of the service group will shrink or expand based on the number of IP addresses resolved.
