Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a headrest, a seat back to which the headrest is attached, and a seat cushion connected to the seat back. The headrest includes pillar frames attached to the seat back, a core member that includes a pouring passage penetrating from one end to the other end, a cover that covers the core member and a part of the pillar frames, and a cushion member that is formed in a gap between the outer surface of the core member and the inner surface of the cover and inside the pouring passage. The pouring passage extends in a first direction from the one end of the core member to reach a predetermined position, extends in a second direction from the predetermined position to reach the other end, and includes a bent part at the predetermined position.
Abstract: A vehicle seat including a seat cushion and a seat back is constructed such that at least one of the seat cushion or the seat back includes: a blower fan, a blower chamber defining a ventilation passage of air sent from the blower fan, and a urethane pad sandwiching the blower chamber and formed with a plurality of vent holes allowing the air from the blower chamber to flow there-through. The ventilation passage in the blower chamber is formed across the full width of the blower chamber, and the blower chamber is formed with through-holes having a diameter smaller than that of the vent holes of the urethane pad and in a manner that the plurality of through-holes are overlapped with one vent hole in the urethane pad.

Abstract: A seat frame for a framework structure of a vehicle seat includes a plurality of frame bodies formed by bending a single tubular member. The single tubular member is formed in a closed cross-sectional shape by a single long and flat member being bent in a direction that is at a right angle with respect to the lengthwise direction of the long and flat member, and then end edges of the tubular member that have come to face each other being joined together by welding. Each of the plurality of frame bodies includes a bend part and rectilinear parts. The bend part is rectangular in cross section. The rectilinear parts include a rectangular cross section portion and a cross-section-varying portion. The end part of the cross-section-varying portion, connected to the rectangular cross section portion, is rectangular in cross section.
Abstract: An objective is to provide a vehicle seat that ensures a reduced effect on an appearance even when a sewn portion made by sewing the trim cover is bonded in a groove. A vehicle seat formed by bonding a trim cover to a foam pad is configured such that the trim cover includes a sewn portion made by sewing a plurality of skin materials, the foam pad has a groove, the vehicle seat is formed by the sewn portion of the trim cover and the sewn portion is bonded in the groove of the foam pad, and the groove includes a guiding portion that guides a seam allowance of the sewn portion to the groove, and a restricting portion that restricts the seam allowance of the sewn portion to support the seam allowance of the sewn portion in a state where the seam allowance of the sewn portion does not open.

Abstract: In a conventional vehicle seat with a reclining mechanism, a reclining unit is bolted to a seat frame. Consequently, a plate thickness has to be increased in order to ensure strength and a fastening bolt is required, producing factor which increases the number of parts. In order to solve the abovementioned problem, this vehicle seat with a reclining mechanism is configured such that a reclining unit (2) which has the reclining mechanism (5) is affixed to a back side frame (3) and a cushion side frame (40), which constitute the seat frame of the vehicle seat. The reclining unit (2) has the reclining mechanism (5), a movable bracket (6) which is affixed to the back side frame (3), and a stationary bracket (7) which is affixed to the cushion side frame (40). The reclining unit (2) is configured such that the reclining unit (2) is affixed to the back side frame (3) through the movable bracket (6) by welding and is fastened to the cushion side frame (40) by a bolt through the stationary bracket (7).
