  • Patent number: 4890085
Abstract: A terminal fitted bobbin adapted to be fitted in a pot core so as to form a transformer or inductance element has a structure in which at least one frame provided with a plurality of terminals is formed on a flange and has at least one projection for guiding lead wires. When windings are applied to the bobbin and the bobbin is further fitted in the core, the projection guides the lead wires to be connected to terminals at the ends of the windings so they do not contact the core and is effective in automating the winding operation.

  • Patent number: 4579780
Abstract: A magnetic recording medium is provided which is assured of smoothly and stably running properties and is free of the so-called "squeal" phenomenon, especially in an environment of high temperature and high humidity. A highly viscous silicone oil having a viscosity of 100,000 or more is incorporated as a lubricating agent in the magnetic coating of the magnetic recording medium in an amount of 0.5 to 2% by weight based on binder. Such silicone oil is a dimethyl silicone oil having the following rational formula: ##STR1## where n is a number which determines a viscosity thereof.

  • Patent number: 4530080
Abstract: A simple heat mode optical recording system uses a laser beam comprised of a first laser beam and a second laser beam. The energy density of each beam is less than the threshold level for effecting the recording data on a recording medium, but the sum of the energy density of the two beams exceeds the threshold level. The second beam functions to pre-heat the recording medium, and is implemented by a powerful inexpensive LED laser, and the first beam functions to write and/or read data and has a sharp area to increase the storage capacity. Those two beams are focused on the recording medium by using a single focusing control means.
