Abstract: A plugging device, apparatus, and method. The plugging device includes an expandable member configured to move from a first, retracted position to a second, expanded position, a counter configured to count a number of restrictions in a conduit that the plugging device passes through, and an actuator configured to move the expandable member from the first position to the second position in response to the counter counting a predetermined number of restrictions. The expandable member in the expanded position prevents the plugging device from passing through a target restriction.

Abstract: An armrest adjuster includes a slider, a fixing member moveably mounted into a concave space of the slider, and a button is revealed. Two pins set on a bottom surface of the fixing member are moveably mounted in two long grooves on a bottom surface of the slider respectively. Each pin is set with a through hole for being fastened on a top of a vertical support of an armrest. The button exposed is clipped between the slider and the fixing member. The button is disposed with a rack while another rack corresponding to the rack of the button is arranged at the fixing member. The rack of the button is separated from the rack of the fixing member when the button is pressed. Thus the slider is moved horizontally relative to the fixing member. The design is beneficial to the assembly process, modularization and mass production.

Abstract: A platform for transferring business is described. Users use registration logic to open accounts. A first user submits a business with a unique identifier. Second, third and further users bid on the business using bidding logic and a winning bid normally corresponds with a bid for a higher profit sharing percentage to share with the first user. When a benefit is registered in favor of a winning bidder, the benefit is divided between the winning bidder, the first user and an operator of the platform.

The method may include placing a first layer of vegetable product into a mold and forming the first layer of vegetable product to the mold. The method may also include various other steps. For example, the method may include placing a second layer of vegetable product into the mold and forming the second layer of vegetable product to the mold. For example, the method may include perforating the first layer of vegetable product while under within the mold, and/or chilling the first layer of vegetable product while inside the mold. The method may include increasing the flexibility of the vegetable product prior to insertion into the mold by perforating the vegetable product using an array of prongs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric switch comprising a first switch assembly (1) with several electric breaker elements (2a, 2b, 2c) connected in series between two connection terminals (5, 6), and a second switch assembly (4) with a electric breaker element (3) connected in parallel to the first switch assembly (1). The second switch assembly (4) has less electrical resistance than the first switch assembly (1). The switch is configured so that the second switch assembly (4) closes in a delayed manner with respect to the closing of the first switch (1). Current interruption operations are performed with the first switch assembly (1) to facilitate arc quenching, whereas in permanent working of the switch, current flows through the low electrical resistance second breaker element (4) to reduce losses due to heating. The invention also relates to a method for controlling current flow.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for installing a single valve assembly into in-service pipelines are presented using conventional hot tap technology. In one embodiment, the single valve assembly may comprise a removable cartridge assembly that comprises a wedge assembly that is rotated from an open position to a closed position and movable from a first unexpanded position to a second compressed position that sealingly engages one or more sealing elements to the valve body or housing to prevent fluid flow in the pipeline. The cartridge assembly is configured to be removed from the valve body for repair, maintenance, or replacement without additional line stops or interruptions to the in-service pipeline.

Abstract: Stimulation valves for a well tubular having a cylindrical housing adapted for assembly into a tubular for a well. The valves have ports allowing fluid communication between a central conduit and the exterior of the housing and a valve body adapted for movement from a closed position to an open position allowing fluid communication through the ports. A ball seat is mounted in the valve conduit above the ports. The ball seat has an initial ball-catch state in which a ball may be received in the ball seat to move the valve body from its closed position to its open position. The ball seat is adapted to transition to a ball-pass state and release the ball as the valve body is moved to the open position. The ball seat remains in the ball-pass state after the transition from the ball-catch state.

A multi-head optical scanner can include at least two fiber optic sensors each comprised of a bundle of optical fibers arranged into a linear face coupled to an image processing module and oriented towards a scanning area of sealed packages moving through a conveyance system. An image processing module can analyze input from the at least two fiber optic sensor arrangements to identify artifacts in the sealing areas of the sealed packages.
