Abstract: According to one embodiment a circuit comprises a supply pin operable to receive a supply voltage, a non-volatile memory for storing one or more parameters, and a Near Field Communication (NFC) transceiver that is operable to receive data representing the one or more parameters. The circuit is operable to deactivate the NFC transceiver in response to receiving the supply voltage at the supply pin.
Abstract: A disclosed intermediate circuit arrangement includes first and second partial circuit boards of identical design having a series circuit of at least two capacitor banks. The partial circuit boards each have a terminal strip having a positive intermediate circuit connection, a negative intermediate circuit connection, and a central connection. The circuit arrangement also includes a connecting circuit board for electrically connecting the respective connections of the terminal strips of the two partial circuit boards to one another. The connecting circuit board is a multi-layer circuit board with two outer metal layers and at least two inner metal layers arranged between the outer metal layers.
Abstract: A modular hybrid transmission that provides for an improved support of the rotor as well as an improved cooling layout for the stator. The modular hybrid transmission has a rotating assembly and a housing assembly. The rotating assembly includes a rotor assembly, a rotor carrier hub that supports the rotor, and an input shaft. The rotor carrier is rotationally fixed on the input shaft. The housing assembly houses the rotating assembly, and includes a housing having an outer wall, a stator assembly connected to the outer wall, and a radially extending stationary wall that extends from the outer wall toward the output shaft. The stationary wall includes an axially extending wall portion that extends parallel to an outer surface of the input shaft, and a radial ball bearing supports the input shaft on this axially extending wall portion. Two stator cooling paths are channeled in the housing.

Abstract: An example method for performing depth measurements with an image sensor comprises, for at least a first pixel, performing one or more continuous-wave phase measurements for the first pixel and performing a coded-modulation measurement for the first pixel. Abstract: A method for machining a bearing ring of a rolling bearing includes providing a blank with an annular surface for producing the bearing ring, clamping the blank in a machine tool, and structuring the annular surface by high-feed milling to form a sealing face. The method may include removing material from the blank to produce a track of the bearing ring while the blank is still clamped in the machine tool, with the blank rotating during the steps of structuring the annular surface and removing material from the blank. The method may also include providing a high-feed milling cutter with a face, and performing the high-feed milling with the face.

Abstract: A power semiconductor device having a power semiconductor transistor configuration includes: a semiconductor body having a front side coupled to a first load terminal structure, a backside coupled to a second load terminal structure, and a lateral chip edge; an active region for conducting a load current in a conducting state; and an edge termination region separating the active region and lateral chip edge. At the front-side, the edge termination region includes a protection region devoid of any metallic structure, unless the metallic structure is electrically shielded from below by a polysilicon layer that extends further towards the lateral chip edge than the metallic structure by a lateral distance of at least 20 ?m. In a blocking state, the protection region accommodates a voltage change of at least 90% of a blocking voltage inside the semiconductor body in a lateral direction from the active region towards the lateral chip edge.

Abstract: A hybrid module includes a driveshaft connection point for receiving a first torque, a transmission shaft connection point for outputting a second torque, a torque-receiving means for receiving a third torque from an electrical machine, and a dry multiplate clutch. The dry multiplate clutch includes an outer plate holder, torsionally rigidly connected to the transmission shaft connection point and to the torque-receiving means, an inner plate holder, torsionally rigidly connected to the driveshaft connection point, at least one outer plate axially movably mounted in the outer plate holder, and a plurality of inner plates, axially movably mounted in the inner plate holder to form a stack of plates together with the at least one outer plate. When the stack of plates is axially pressed with a target contact pressure, a target torque can be transmitted from the driveshaft connection point to the torque-receiving means and the transmission shaft connection point.
