Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to tokens to indicate completion of data storage to memory are described. An example method may include storing a number of data values by a first page in a first row of an array of memory cells responsive to receipt of a first command from a host, where the first command is associated with an open transaction token, and receiving a second command from the host to store a number of data values by a second page in the first row. The method may further include sending a safety token to the host to indicate completion of storing the number of data values by the second page in the first row.
Abstract: A system and method for conducting a sleep test includes initiating a sleep test script, and providing the script to a patient. Testing hardware is shipped from a provider to the patient, and instructions are provided to the patient for connecting the testing hardware to a mobile computing device. A mobile sleep application is downloaded and installed onto the mobile computing device. The testing hardware is connected to the mobile computing device, and the sleep test is conducted using the mobile sleep application operating on the mobile computing device.
Abstract: A reversible resistance exercise machine for reversing the direction of applied resistance against a movable platform of an exercising machine. The exercise machine has a frame, a carriage movably positioned upon the frame, and a plurality of biasing members. A plurality of first tension connectors are accessible near the first end of the carriage and are adapted for removably attaching selected biasing members near the first end of the carriage to resist motion of the carriage in the first direction. A plurality of second tension connectors are accessible near the second end of the carriage and are adapted for removably attaching selected biasing members near the second end of the carriage to resist motion of the carriage in the second direction. A user selectable amount of force may be applied to the carriage to resist movement in either of the first direction and the second direction.

Abstract: Technologies directed to determining a role of a network device, configuring the network device according to the role, and provisioning the network device to a network are described. In one method, the hardware configuration information and external connection information are stored by the network device. The network device determines a role using the hardware configuration information and the external connection information without any manual intervention or manual configuration. The role can be any one of a Router Node, a Storage Node, a Base Station Node, a Relay Node, a Gateway Node, or a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) Node. After recognizing the role, the network device can be configured and provisioned to the network without any manual intervention or manual configuration.

Abstract: A magnetic memory device contains a synthetic antiferromagnetic (SAF) structure that includes an antiferromagnetically coupled stack and a reference layer. The antiferromagnetically coupled stack contains plural multilayer stacks. Each multilayer stack contains at least one ferromagnetic material layer, a non-magnetic layer and a non-magnetic SAF spacer layer having a different composition than the non-magnetic layer.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enhanced processing of time series data via parallelization of instructions. An example method includes receiving a query indicating time series datasets and operations to be performed on the time series datasets. Nodes associated with the query are identified, with each node associated with a time series dataset. Nodes associated with operations to be performed are generated. The nodes are assembled into query tree, with parent nodes of the query tree indicating operations that are to be applied to children nodes. Instructions for processing the query tree are generated. At least a subset of the instructions is provided to one or more compute systems for processing in parallel. Results are received, and presented in a user interface.

Abstract: An approach to a piezoelectric (PZT) device, such as a hard disk drive microactuator, includes one or more layers of poled PZT material, with top and bottom surfaces coupled with respective electrode layers coupled with a power source to drive the active PZT layer(s). The electrode layers have different thicknesses, where the particular thicknesses may be configured to mitigate the variation of out-of-plane motion or bending associated with operational variations in the z-height between a corresponding actuator arm and recording medium and, likewise, the phase variation of flexure vibration.
Abstract: Methods communicate among a client device, a network device, and an audio/video recording and communication device (A/V device). The network device includes a processor, memory, and instructions that when executed by the processor implement the method. An indication that an application associated with the A/V device is running and open on a display of the client device is received from the client device. Update information, when received by the A/V device, causes the A/V device to adjust a keep-alive interval from a first amount of time to a second amount of time shorter than the first amount of time. A signal from the A/V device is received, and the update information is transmitted to the A/V device in response.
