  • Patent number: 10462610
Abstract: A client device maintains location state data including a first location estimate of a geographic location of the client device. The first location estimate is based on a first motion measurement obtained over a first time period. The client device retrieves a second motion measurement obtained over a second time period subsequent to the first time period and uses it and the first location estimate to generate a second location estimate. The client device sends the second location estimate to a server. The server further processes the second location estimate to generate an updated second location estimate. The client device retrieves a third motion measurement and generates a third location estimate. The client device receives the updated second location estimate and uses it to adjust the third location estimate. A fourth location estimate is generated using the adjusted third location estimate.

  • Patent number: 10462711
Abstract: The disclosure includes a method for rapidly recovering the speed of TCP transmission after a cross technology handover experienced by a mobile device. In the method, the mobile device receives a sequentially first TCP data packet after the cross technology handover completes via a TCP session between the mobile device and a remote TCP server, generates a first acknowledgement (ACK) associated with the sequentially first TCP data packet, where the first ACK comprises a first Selective ACK (SACK) option, removes the first SACK option from the first ACK when a gap exists between data in the sequentially first TCP data packet and data received before the cross technology handover occurs, and sends the first ACK without the first SACK option to the remote TCP server via the TCP session. Because the ACK is without the SACK option when the gap exists, the speed of TCP transmission will be recovered rapidly.

  • Patent number: 10460814
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to non-volatile memory devices, such as flash memory, and sensing operation methods including locking out high conduction current memory cells of the memory devices. In one embodiment, a method of sensing a plurality of memory cells in an array includes conducting a lower page read of one or more demarcation threshold voltages. Each memory cell is programmable to a threshold voltage corresponding to one of multiple memory states. A middle page read of one or more demarcation threshold voltages is conducted. Memory cells identified from the lower page read are selectively locked out during the middle page read. An upper page read of one or more demarcation threshold voltages is conducted. Memory cells identified from a prior page read are selectively locked out during the upper page read.

  • Patent number: 10462025
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the performance associated with fulfilling resource requests are provided. One or more client computing devices obtain an original resource request and associate a record identifier with the original resource request. The one or more client computing devices also determine performance data associated with processing each embedded resource request included in a response to the original resource request. Each embedded resource request is associated with a component record identifier that is associated with, but different from, the record identifier of the original resource request. The one or more client computing devices can then transmit the determined performance data with the record identifier to another processing device.
